#Relief from restlessness, broadened perspective #Simplicity of life, body care, meditation experience #Had time for self-reflection
"I liked trying meditation for the first time, the month of taking care of my body that I hadn''t been able to care for, learning about the body, and so on. The three months I spent in India. The simplicity of a life that doesn''t take too much. It seemed to be a time to reflect on what is truly necessary in life."

# I wanted to broaden my perspective and look for other professional opportunities.

I am a 39-year-old unmarried woman who worked as a pattern maker (technical department) in the fashion industry for about 12 years. I carried out a project to learn leathercraft in Italy and participated in a yoga program in India.
For the India yoga project, I wanted to study more deeply the yoga I had started when I began working, and I went because I wanted to travel the country of India.
I had been very worn out from working in Korea, I wanted to experience local life rather than just travel, and I wanted to broaden my perspective to find other career opportunities.
# It seemed to be a time to reflect on what is truly necessary in life.

We started the day at 7 AM with meditation, followed by tea time, a morning yoga class, theory classes, lunch, and then rest time. After two theory classes we finished the day with another yoga class. It was harder than I expected and not easy physically or mentally, but watching my body change over a month was very rewarding and pleasant.
I liked trying meditation for the first time, the month of caring for my body that I had neglected, learning about the body, and so on.The three months spent in India. The simplicity of a life that doesn''t take too much. It seemed to be a time to reflect on what is truly necessary in life.
I met people of various nationalities and ages, listened to their stories, and was able to let go of many anxieties about life. There are so many I can''t name just a few, but I was able to hear their stories of simply living their own lives rather than living a life with a single correct answer.
# My personal travel recommendation
There are no recommended places, schedules, or routes. I traveled strictly according to my tastes, not following tourist routes, and it wasn''t very busy. If I had to recommend something, it would be my way of traveling.I traveled with just Google Maps and the TripAdvisor app. Those two.
I got basic information from TripAdvisor and most details from Google Maps. I like bakeries, museums, and shopping malls, so I would find them on the map, look at the map and go — traveling wherever my footsteps took me. In the end I experienced things I was interested in across various cities.
My gap year was
Experience★★★★★
It was a wonderful experience because I learned the things I wanted to learn in the places I wanted to be.
Learning★★★★★
Because I had time to choose and learn the things I wanted to learn. I am very satisfied with the project I chose.
Environment★★★★★
Italy, which was perfect in every way, and India, which was unlike anything else. They are contrasting, but perhaps that too is an experience.
Safety★★★★★
There are a lot of things people say about India, but I think that if you stick to the basic precautions and live accordingly, the chances of getting into a dangerous situation aren''t high.
Leisure★★★★☆
I tried to learn so many things that I was inevitably a bit tired, but that''s what I set out to do on my gap year.
