#I wanted to spend meaningful time after graduating high school

Hello. I''m Jeon Yubeom. I previously went to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for childcare volunteer work and learned new things about myself. This time, wanting to spend meaningful time after graduating high school, I set off on my second gap year to Bali, Indonesia.
*For Jeon Yubeom, who loves traveling, we recommended a customized gap year plan as a consulting service that allows him to take on new challenges :) Want a personalized plan tailored to your situation? We highly recommend 1:1 consulting with a gap year specialist!
A sure way to change my life: Gap year 1:1 consulting
#I hope facing new environments and new people will be less difficult

My goal for this gap year was to make meeting new people in new environments less difficult and to become more comfortable with it.
#Everyone was so kind; I was touched

When I first arrived in Bali I felt a little nervous and worried, but talking with the friendly and fun staff quickly put me at ease. Meeting and talking with many people made all my worries disappear, and I began to look forward to the next day. The locals were so kind and I was moved. They started conversations easily and kindly asked if I needed anything or if there were any inconveniences.
Volunteering to teach the children was very fun, and the activities I joined during my free time provided experiences I would never have had otherwise, while also helping me better understand Bali.
#I''m no longer very afraid of new things.

Every single day participating in the project felt very meaningful. The schedule wasn''t too hard, so it was a good project that allowed plenty of healing. After participating in the project I gained a bit more confidence in myself and am no longer very afraid of new things.
#Bali English teaching volunteer trip — here''s my daily routine!

I wake up at 6–7 AM to prepare for the day. After breakfast I enjoyed that day''s activity and studied English by doing one hour of free talking with local guides. After that I had lunch and went to the school to teach English to the local children. When classes finished I ate dinner and spent free time.
#My tips for preparing a Bali English teaching volunteer gap year!

Thanks to the gap year program''s friendly preparation assistance, there weren''t any major difficulties. Since it''s abroad, if you participate with an open mind and the intention to enjoy yourself, you''ll likely be able to have even more fun.
