Designing a Successful College Life — it gave me another chance to reflect on my own dreams ^^

#Regained confidence, overcoming the impatience of feeling "it's too late" #The courage to pursue my dream and concrete information #A precious lecture that felt like a great gift to me

  •

Through the lecture I once again realized how important the ''confidence'' to do something is. I truly believe that with this confidence you are halfway to making your dream come true. I also learned that youth is more powerful than any weapon.

    -Designing a successful college life

    Hello^^

This lecture review is really late, isn''t it^^? hehe

First, about what a successful college life is,
Furthermore, thank you for giving me the opportunity to reconsider my own future (=dream).
For spreading the idea that ''this is how you should live college life,''
I sincerely, truly, deeply thank you very, very much!!!
Thank you so much! (I teared up inside^^;)

I will write this lecture review very subjectively, by putting myself in my own position.
After all, everyone has their own circumstances,
I hope small reviews like mine will come together to more concretely contribute to the content of future donation lectures!
In particular, the speakers will likely receive many questions going forward,
I hope this will help when considering the questioners'' perspectives and how to answer their questions^^... hehe

    First, to explain my situation,
I am a college student. However, my age is........................... hehe
Unlike peers my age, I experienced working life before studying,
What I felt from the social/work life I experienced first was
the reason why college life is necessary.
Even if today''s generation says that because everyone goes to college its value has decreased,
once I actually experienced working life, I personally felt the necessity of college life.
So, when my friends were graduating,
I firmly made up my mind and became a university freshman again.

But no matter how much people say ''age is just a number,''
reality is far from being just a number.
Because I started college late, I sometimes felt more anxious than my younger classmates,
I felt that I really lacked time.
As a result, the things I had vowed at first gradually became forgotten,
moreover, I kept asking myself ''Am I doing well right now?'' and
I was putting some unexplainable, silent pressure on myself.

However, through this lecture I was reminded of the resolutions I had once made and had forgotten.
I realized again the plans I had wanted to pursue.
Furthermore, I was able to pick up a bit of information about the process of making my own dream a reality ^^

Through the lecture by Instructor Lee Seong-won, who had a successful college experience through volunteering,
I deeply felt the ''motivation'' for why one should volunteer.
In particular, his words to consider how people in the same era can have very different situations,
and that the small things that accumulate here might be desperately desired elsewhere.
    I still can''t forget it!!

Since most of the people I''m connected with now are younger students,
I tend to keep giving advice to the younger ones,
After listening to Instructor Lee Seong-won''s lecture,
I recalled the sincere thanks from the younger students who always listened to my advice,
and realized that my small kindness was truly something they needed.

Secondly, Instructor Park Si-yong, who lectured about studying abroad in India!
    He was really unique, haha.
However, from Park Si-yong''s lecture I was reminded of how important the ''confidence'' to try something is,
    I realized it once again.
I really think that with just that confidence, you''re halfway to achieving your dream, right? haha
I also learned that youth is more powerful than any weapon.
Especially the ''just hang in there'' spirit... I''ll take that to heart lololololol.

Thirdly, in Instructor Kim Nam-ho''s lecture about being an international activist, which was quite unfamiliar to me,
I was simply amazed by the instructor''s fantastic college life experiences.
I also admired how widely he had experienced the world. haha
    Through the instructor''s lecture,
I decided I should look for opportunities to broaden my own global experiences like him,
and I added that to my college life plan!

Lastly, ''planning my own college life'' and
Instructor Park Jin-su, who lectured on the working holiday that everyone dreams about at least once!
I think Park Jin-su''s lecture touched on a topic that many college students worry about,
and perhaps for that reason, regarding college students'' practical concerns,
I think it was a lecture that provided small answers and empathy through the instructor''s experiences.
In particular, my thoughts about the working holiday changed a lot.
Actually, I had thought overseas experience was an opportunity for tourism, healing, and language study.
So when people around me said they were planning a working holiday, I didn''t really pay attention.
However, the lecture based on the instructor''s experience changed my overall view of working holidays.
That a working holiday can also be another opportunity.
So I''ve lightly planned a working holiday to take place after I complete my studies ^^

That was my personal review of the four instructors.
If the four lectures had been part of my university life, anyone would agree it would have been a truly successful college experience,
I came to understand well why students aspire to have the experiences of the instructors.
Also, within the different experiences of the instructors, my own dream and the actions toward that dream
are so important in university life,
and I realized that this university life can become an important foundation for my life.
It became an opportunity to properly feel that.

Actually, there were things I had realized before as well, but
through this lecture I realized it under the title ''successful college life'',
and I resolved that now I just need to put it into practice!!!

To all the instructors who gave so many insights and information in such a short time,
I offer my deep thanks again ^______^

    Really..................................
That was quite a wordy review, wasn''t it?
That much (i.e., it means) this donation lecture gave me a great gift.
I also wanted to give something in return!!!!!!!!
Was this at least a small way to repay you? ^^ haha

Thank you for reading and for your effort,
I sincerely hope that all the programs you plan in the future,
will be successful — I''ll be cheering hard from behind!!!
    Fighting!!!!

By the way, before the lecture, CEO An Si-jun''s orientation about gap years was also really good.
Actually, I didn''t know much about gap years, but through this opportunity I learned about them for sure!
And Ms. Choi Da-young, who hosted the event!!! She was so cute.......*.*;; haha
Lastly, to everyone who worked hard for this lecture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Thank you so much^^

Wishing you prosperity in the future!!!!!
