Recharging warm love with children in Hanoi, Vietnam
Q. Please tell us your level of satisfaction with the projectPlease. If you were satisfied, what did you like about it?
A. 9/10
Interaction with the children was alsoI was truly satisfied, gained confidence, and had experiences I hadn''t tried before and met people I wouldn''t have met if I''d only been in KoreaI feel like I learned and experienced a lot while meeting them.
Q. Would you recommend this project?
A. 7/10
This project is definitely helpful and worthwhile. And although English isn''t used much in the volunteering itself, all interactions with other volunteers and staff during your stay are in English, and most of those volunteers are from Europe or the U.S.
Q. Have you experienced any changes after participating in this project?
A. While volunteering, I received a lot of healing through the childrenbut even more so through the other European volunteers I stayed withI learned that even with little money, you can still live in a way that increases your satisfaction and enjoyment, and that mindset left a strong impression on me.
Q. Do you have any final comments?
A.You can go on language study or volunteer programs elsewhere, but I think a major advantage is that it makes you continue to explore and reflect on your life and receive support, so that part was a great helpIt was.
Thank you to the consultant who kept in contact and helped me while I was on my gap year :)
