Korea GapYear offers three different types of language courses and helps with the application process from start to finish.

You'll learn academic Korean and grammar, plus get a deeper understanding of the language from an academic perspective through our educational partners

Starting Date: When-ever Period: not applicable Visa: Visa-Free

Our exclusive 1:1 Korean Class Experience Learning is designed specifically for you, free from classroom pressures.

With dedicated attention, you will learn Korean faster and more effectively and speak like one too. Receiving direct feedback to speed up your progress. Engage in real conversations with native speakers and make new friendships and cultural understanding.

This course is perfect if you want to live in Korea and learn Korean. It's a nice mix of studying and meeting new people from different countries. It will help you get ready for the Topik Exam. With this option, you'll be a part-time student and have time to explore South Korea on your own.

Beginning your Volunteer journey with Korea GapYear (KGY) is an exciting and straightforward process to make your experience both enjoyable and enriching. Here's a step-by-step guide to how it all works.

Welcome to the KGY LANGUAGE Program – where every step of your journey is carefully crafted to ensure a fulfilling and unforgettable experience!

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Age: 18+
Copy of passport
Certificate of graduation/expected graduation(or certificate of studentship)
Proof of sufficient funds: Original copy of the certificate of bank balance (minimum $10,000) [if applying for the University language course]
Commitment to Host Organization, its rules, and tasks
You fulfill all legal and formal requirements

NOTE

Details about working conditions such as days and hours may vary depending on the company being placed.
Interns will not work on public holidays in South Korea. (If you starting date is a Monday it follows on a red day you will be working the following day)
Only available for age over 18+
Potential Company Placements Information will not be given out prior to confirmed application due to privacy reasons.
All Internship positions are unpaid
