Start by completing the application form provided by KoreaGapYear and your program operator, if you have not submitted it yet, please follow the following link Application Form. Ensure that you provide accurate and detailed information about your skills, experiences, and interests. This will help the interviewer gain a better understanding of your background and aspirations.
Attach your updated CV, a motivation letter, showcasing why you plan to apply to our progra and why you would like to have it in Korea out of so many countries in the world
A portfolio providing your relevant projects or achievements. Tailor your documents to highlight your passion for the field, your skills, and why you are interested in pursuing a time aborad in South Korea.
Reach out to your designated internship operator at KoreaGapYear through program@koreagapyear.com They will guide you through the interview process, provide necessary instructions, and assist you with any queries you may have.
Coordinate with your internship operator to schedule an interview slot that works for both parties. Typically, interviews are conducted on weekdays between 10 am and 5 pm KST. Choose a time that suits your availability and aligns with the interviewer's schedule.
Once the interview is confirmed, your internship operator will provide you with a Interview link. Make sure to check your email regularly and save the link. On the interview day, log in a few minutes before the scheduled time to ensure a smooth start.
Prepare thoughtful and well-structured responses to common interview questions. Anticipate questions about your interest in South Korea, the specific type of program you desire, what motivates you, and any challenges you may face. Reflect on your experiences and aspirations to provide meaningful answers during the interview. Keep in mind that it is important not only to show why you want to do this program but by why in South Korea

After the interview, patiently await the decision, and if selected, you will receive an acceptance notification to the internship program by your operator within 48 hours.
In case you encounter any unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from attending the scheduled interview, promptly inform your operator to reschedule, at least one day prior. Please note that rescheduling may lead to a delay of up to three days before a new interview can be done, so it's crucial to communicate any changes as early as possible.
