    With just one project application, you’re all set for a month-long European adventure! This project includes itinerary, transportation, accommodation, meals, and guides, so you won’t have to worry about carrying heavy bags or stressing over booking accommodations.

    No worries about shopping or optional extras! Unlike a typical tour, you’ll have the freedom to plan your own schedule within the city. Enjoy food tours, historical explorations, and relaxation based on your interests.

    Travel Through 13 Countries and 30 Cities in About a Month! The Ultimate European Journey!

    Starting in London, UK, this project takes you through major European cities such as Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Athens!

    This project is designed to cover the essential highlights of European backpacking.

    In addition, enjoy activities you wouldn’t experience alone, such as visiting French castles, exploring Bordeaux’s wine region, and taking night ferries in Athens.

    PROJECT ACTIVITIES

     

     

    Europe is a continent that has been leading economic, cultural, and social trends from the Industrial Revolution to the present day. Although geographically not very large, Europe is home to many countries with diverse cultures, making it a treasure trove of things to see. Due to its unique culture, abundant sights and food, and advanced cultural systems, Europe is also one of the most popular backpacking destinations for Koreans. Additionally, depending on how you plan your trip, Europe offers various travel experiences such as fairy-tale tours, winery tours, the Santiago pilgrimage, countryside trips, and festival explorations, making it a destination you won’t tire of even after multiple visits.

    This project involves traveling through the core areas of Europe by bus.

     

     

     English Requirements ★★☆☆☆

    - You will travel with various foreigners from around the world and will be in an environment where English is used for guidance and instructions.

    - Basic knowledge of meeting and departure times and places, as well as simple communication skills, are sufficient!

    - Being able to communicate in English will help you connect with international participants.

    During the project, spend time with friends and naturally build confidence in your English!

     

     

       Project Description

    - Duration: 31 days

    - Itinerary: London, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Athens, Budapest, Vienna, Lucerne, Munich, Amsterdam, and other cities in 13 European countries and 30 cities ( for detailed project itinerary, refer to the project details )

    - You will travel with international participants from countries like Canada, Australia, the United States, Japan, etc. ( Average number of participants: about 35, Maximum number of participants: about 50)

     

     

     

       Activity Details

    - Travel through Western Europe and Central/Southern Europe by bus.

    - Participate in city guide tours, visit wine regions, explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites, etc. (See detailed itinerary)

    Barcelona Venice Florence Rome Athens Delphi Archaeological Site Sofia Budapest Vienna and other cities   will have English-guided tours.

    - On days without travel or tours, you have free time to explore local restaurants, historical sites, and enjoy your own travel experiences.

     

     

     

     

       Important Notes

    1. On the first day, you will individually check in at the designated hotel in London and have a free day.

        Therefore, you can check in at your convenience. A dedicated staff member will be available at the hotel lobby (or desk) to answer any questions about the upcoming schedule and city guides. (A full schedule explanation will be provided in Paris, France)

    2. The project will conclude in Amsterdam, Netherlands, around 10 AM.

    3. If you need to book transportation (flights, buses, trains, etc.) and accommodation for personal plans before or after the project, please pay attention to the project start/end times and locations. Detailed information will be provided individually upon confirmation of participation.

    4. This project includes a professional tour manager and driver.

        If you have any questions about the project or tourist sites, you can request assistance at any time.

    Details Included

    - Accommodation will be in 2-person rooms in 3-star or higher hotels in each region, shared with a roommate.
    - Some meals included in the project schedule consist of breakfast and 10 dinners throughout the trip. Lunch and any meals not included in the detailed itinerary can be enjoyed individually based on personal preference.
    - Tours included in the schedule feature city guide tours, Pisa mini train, Amsterdam canal boat, Venice motorboat, and overnight ferries between Italy and Greece.

    Accommodation

    ACCOMMODATION INTRODUCTION

     



    You will stay in double rooms with a roommate at 3-star hotels or higher in each region. Each hotel is equipped with either a private bath or shower, and some hotels offer additional amenities such as a swimming pool or coin laundry. The hotels are generally well-located with convenient access to the city center, making it easy to plan your free time.

     

    Breakfast is provided by the hotel, and dinner is included for 10 occasions according to the itinerary. Meals not included (some lunches or dinners) can be enjoyed freely on your own.

     

    * If you prefer a private space, a single room can be arranged for an additional fee. Please contact Korea Gap Year (koreagapyear@gmail.com) if you wish to request a single room.

       Payment Plan Information

    If you are unable to pay in full, you can make a deposit of 500,000 KRW and pay the remaining balance within 2 weeks. The process to confirm your participation will then proceed based on the deposit date, and availability and terms will be confirmed. Early reservation is important to ensure participation on your desired date and duration!   (Refunds are not possible once participation is confirmed)

    * However, if the start date is approaching, the schedule for the remaining balance may vary depending on circumstances.

     

       Emergency Application Information

    It is recommended to apply for Gap Year projects at least 3 months before the project start date due to the standard processing procedures and preparation time. Applications should be submitted no later than 2 months in advance. If urgent participation is required, emergency application services are available for an additional fee, and we will assist with the fastest processing possible.

    * While we will assist with expedited processing, please note that time is required for communication with local agencies and confirmation of participation. As all procedures are conducted similarly to standard applicants, those using the emergency application service must actively cooperate with the Korea Gap Year operations team.
