A special language study experience in Cork, Ireland — Europe’s hidden gem 🇮🇪
Where warm sunshine meets the blue sea Cork, the jewel of southern IrelandCreate real English skills and unforgettable memories at the same time!
Cork is Ireland’s second largest city and a harbor town full of the locals' warm hospitality. From Instagram-worthy scenery to a relaxed café culture, it’s a place where you can experience Ireland’s true charm that others might miss, perfectly combining study and travel.
1. A three-in-one opportunity: study English, build your career, and earn tuition!
Ireland has low taxes, which is why global companies like Google, Facebook, and Apple use it as their European headquarters. Among English-speaking countries, tuition is relatively affordable, and you can combine classes with part-time work*(Per week: 20 hours; during holidays: 40 hours; can stay 2 extra months after the term ends; requires 25 weeks of enrollment)allowing you to combine them.a country that many students from around the world choose to study English in.It is. Attend classes and socialize with friends, and use your spare time to do light part-time work and mingle with the people of Cork. Ireland has many companies and jobs, so anyone can easily find employment or part-time work — a major advantage of studying English in Ireland.
In addition,Cork is Ireland’s second city, a beautiful port on the southern coast where the cost of living is low and expenses are light. Also, because the proportion of foreigners is not high, you can naturally interact with locals and use English in everyday life. If you want to enjoy Ireland’s relaxed local vibe while learning English, we recommend this program. Join small galleries, markets, and local festivals in Cork and start learning English enjoyably. Start a new life in Cork!
* Ireland’s minimum wage is very high — about 2–3 times that of Korea. Working 20–40 hours per week is enough to cover tuition costs.

2. An environment where your English skills grow quickly!
Ireland isknown for low crime rates among European countries, boasting a safe and clean environmentAs a result, welfare and the job culture are good, and you can make friends from many different nationalities. The language school where this program runs has many students from European countries such as Italy, France, and Germany, along with students from Latin America and Asia.
Koreans make up less than 5% of the total students, providing an environment where you can naturally immerse yourself in English.Classes are held in small groups of around 10 students, and elective classes or one-on-one lessons let you focus on areas you need to improve.Having groups of under 10 and one-on-one lessons gives you plenty of time to use English, expand your expressions, and build confidence. Live with friends from different cultures and, with confidence, express yourself freely!
* Why Korean Gap Year recommends Cork instead of Dublin city
Cork is warm. Located furthest south, it shares a similar position and latitude to London and has the sea right in front, giving it a mild, warm climate. Second, because Ireland's low corporate taxes have attracted many global companies, there is a shortage of workers, making part-time jobs easy to find. Finally, the low cost of living is great for people who want to travel, study, and live there. You can visit other parts of Ireland on weekends and during holidays.

| 'Korean Gap Year'We have long realized through experience that participants who study English at moderately sized institutions—rather than large educational institutions—tend to achieve higher academic performance and greater happiness.
