This is a working holiday project for people who want to try working on farms in Australia. Before getting a job on a farm, participants receive training at a training farm and can experience a variety of farm tasks. Train together with working holiday makers from around the world, then get employed on a farm and gain a special experience in Australia’s beautiful natural surroundings.
1. Experience Australia’s great outdoors in your everyday life.
The orange sunsets spreading over vast plains at dusk, star-filled night skies and the colorful Southern Lights, the world’s largest coral reef habitats, and beautiful coastal roads — these are all awe-inspiring natural sights you can find in Australia.
Daily life on an Australian farm brings you close to natural landscapes you don’t often encounter. Escaping the busyness and difficulties of life in Korea to live in nature lets you reflect on your life and gain new perspectives. Living in Australia’s vast natural environment, you can experience the Earth’s beautiful and diverse scenery firsthand. Encounter a wider world, set aside your worries for a while, and find peace of mind and your true self.
2. You can prepare securely for farm employment and a second visa.
Australian farms are one of the places many working holiday makers look for jobs. Working on a farm can allow you to stay in Australia for an additional year and, with relatively low living costs compared to wages, you can save money while working. However, there are many cases of working holiday makers being exploited—starting work without a proper employment contract or people selling second-visa eligibility for money—because some newcomers are unfamiliar with local conditions.
The organization running the project has worked with young people from over 70 countries and has served as a guide for farm working holidays for more than 30 yearsfor those participants. Participants spend a week at a training farm and prepare for farm employment by receiving the necessary training to work on farms together with working holiday makers from around the world. During the training period, they directly experience various farm-related tasks such as crop harvesting, caring for livestock, cooking, au pair work, hospitality, and farm machinery maintenance, allowing them to find work that suits them. After the training ends, with the organization’s help they contact desired farms, confirm working conditions and pay, carefully review the employment contract, and secure a job.Even after farm employment, the program supports participants to settle stably in the new environment and provides information necessary for obtaining a second visa.Join the project to secure stable farm employment and prepare for a second visa.
3.You are guaranteed an hourly wage and can work with performance-based pay.
After completing the training, you will begin work at an Australian farm once a formal employment contract has been finalized.Participants are guaranteed pay at or above the minimum hourly wage according to their employment contract. In addition, if you work full-time (38 hours per week) you can earn more than KRW 3,300,000* per month. Some farms operate incentive systems that provide additional pay based on performance, so you can enjoy increased income in proportion to your work.
While living on a farm, accommodation is often provided or living expenses are low, so there are few expenditures and it’s easy to save money. Also, because a minimum of 88 days of farm work is required to qualify for the second visa, you can steadily work and build up savings. Work stably in a new environment, gain experience and income at the same time, and prepare for your future plans.

What makes this project special
This is a working holiday project in Brisbane, Australia, where participants receive various farm-related training on a training farm for one week and then gain employment on farms and ranches. Participants can work in their preferred areas among various farm tasks—such as crop harvesting, caring for livestock and animals, au pair duties, and hospitality—to build experience. All partner farms can issue second and third visas if the required working days are met.

The organization running the project was established in 1991 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. While in Australia, it operates a recruitment-linked program in partnership with more than 3,000 farms across the country, aiming to provide young people with a safe pathway to achieve work, travel, and personal development goals.
The organization offers visiting young people in Australia safe and reliable paid employment pathways and experiential programs to support them. Young people from more than 70 countries around the world have participated in Australian farm experiences with the organization.

This project supports contacting farms for employment after you arrive in Brisbane and complete orientation and training on a training farm. During the orientation and training farm periods, you will live with international participants. During the orientation period, you will stay at a hostel in central Brisbane. During the subsequent farm training period, you will live in a 4-person shared room near the training farm with other participants. Friends from other countries and travelers who join this project stay together, providing more than just accommodation—a place for information exchange and socializing. There are proactive staff who lead and help in all situations, and friends who are just starting their working holiday like you, so you can feel a family-like, comfortable atmosphere.
During the initial adjustment period, the accommodation is located right next to the central city station, making trains, local/intercity buses, taxis, and other transportation easily accessible. Rooms are not generally segregated by gender, and you share rooms with international friends, allowing you to naturally experience other countries' cultures. The kitchen, equipped with all cooking utensils (pots, pans, forks, spoons, a refrigerator, a gas stove, and a microwave), is available for use at any time, so you can shop for groceries with friends and prepare meals together.
*During the training period, three meals a day are provided. After the training ends, meal provisions may vary depending on the employment farm, and you will be informed in detail before moving to the farm.
After the training ends, you will move to and live on a farm in Australia where you wish to work. Accommodation varies by farm, but you will typically be assigned a private room on the farm. Detailed information will be provided when farms are assigned after the training ends.

Compared with Sydney and Melbourne, Brisbane is milder and has a strong image as a summer city. It is also scheduled to host the 2032 Summer Olympics, making it a rapidly rising city in Australia.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
Visit Lone Pine, the world's first and largest koala sanctuary, to meet adorable koalas. Not only can you see many koalas, but you can also interact with a variety of animals native to Australia. Koalas live only in Australia, which is one reason they are recommended when traveling there. Information about the koalas is available in Korean; scan the QR code with your camera to access it. At Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, where just watching the animals can bring a smile to your face, be sure to take some photos with them.

South Bank Parklands
South Bank Parklands, one of Brisbane's top tourist attractions, features very beautiful landscaping, including a tropical rainforest reserve, a lagoon where you can enjoy a beach and swimming, walking paths, dedicated bicycle paths, a wildlife sanctuary, a butterfly habitat, restaurants, and picnic areas. Nearby are the Queensland Art Gallery, a performing arts precinct made up of three theatres, the State Library and Museum, and the Queensland Cultural Centre, where you can experience a variety of cultural activities in Brisbane.

Eligibility and Qualifications
- Individuals aged between 18 and 30 (inclusive) who are eligible to apply for a Working Holiday visa
- Individuals who can communicate in basic English
- Holders of an international driving permit who can drive a manual transmission vehicle
* If you cannot drive, you may have difficulty participating in the project or being matched to a farm.

- People who want to start an Australian Working Holiday but are new to long-term residence abroad and feel overwhelmed.
- People who want to achieve both 'English' and 'work' during their Working Holiday in Australia.

If full payment is difficult, you may prepay a registration fee of KRW 500,000 and pay the remaining balance within two weeks. From the date the registration fee is paid, we will begin the process to confirm your participation and check availability and TO. Securing your spot quickly is important to join on your desired dates and duration! (Non-refundable once participation is confirmed)

We recommend applying for all gap year projects at least 3 months before the project start date to allow for normal processing and preparation time, and as a rule, you should apply no later than 2 months prior. However, if there are unavoidable reasons or you urgently need to join a project, we offer an expedited application service for an additional fee to help accelerate processing as much as possible.
*We assist with the fastest possible processing procedures, but there is an inherent amount of time required for communication with local organizations and confirmation of participation, and since all procedures are carried out the same as for regular participants, Those who participate through the urgent application service must actively cooperate with the Korea Gap Year operations teamYou must.
