📢 Notice of Policy Change for Long-Term Inactive Members Due to Abolition of the Personal Information Validity Period System

 

As of the amendment to the Personal Information Protection Act on September 15, 2023, the “Personal Information Validity Period System” (formerly Article 39-6) has been abolished.

Accordingly, if you do not use the Korea GapYear platform and services for one year, the relevant clauses in the personal information collection and usage terms will be revised.

Please check the information below and refer to it for service use.

2. Key Amendments to the Terms of Use

- Following the amendment to the Personal Information Protection Act (Article 39-6, abolition of the personal information validity period system) in the [Personal Information Collection and Usage Terms]

  Deletion of ‘Article 3, Paragraph 2: Compliance with Personal Information Validity Period System’
