This coming summer!
University students who are ready to experience an UNFORGETTABLE SUMMER gather up.
GLOBAL CULTURE EXCHANGE is a great opportunity for you and your friends to travel all over Korea, get to know more about Korean culture, and exchange your experiences with like-minded and locals.
Students who are ready to take on new challenges should definitely apply

An adventure you won’t forget.
There is no registration or participation fee, so just fill out the application on this website and wait for the confirmation of application message.
Following the end of the application period, we will notify participants who passed into the 1st round.
After document screenings and interviews, the announcement of the finalist will take place and they can start their adventure.

We don’t want you to have the run of the mill travel experience. NO! We want you to have a trip you can create and acustomize with your team members together.
Exchange your opinions and come up with a plan together as a team and way to raise your confidence
LEARN
Learn how to create your own videos and spread the word about Korean culture
2 birds with one stone! You will also have the chance to create your video content while traveling through Korea. It is a creative way to share your Korean culture experiences
And don’t worry if you do not have the necessary know-how on how to edit or make videos, we will provide you with a training Teams with really great content will get rewarded:)

Eligibility / Requirements for Admission
FOR FOREIGNERS:
-a residing foreigner in South Korea (all nationalities)
This project was created to establish more awareness of the Korean culture and to share the amazing experiences you are making during your stay here in Korea with people all around the world.
That’s why we ask you when traveling through Korea’s beautiful cities or eating amazing Korean food to film it.
THIS IS THE CHANCE TO CREATE YOUR OWN TRAVEL VIDEO!
Show other students and adventure seekers what kind of experiences awaits them in South Korea by making your own video content
There are no limitations as to what the content has to be about, as long as the main topic is KOREA TOURISM or DISCOVERING KOREA/ KOREAS CULTURE
So grab your chance!
YOU and your FRIENDS have the opportunity to travel and rediscover Korea this summer!
You will go on 3 individual trips to any place in Korea you desire with financial support* provided by us.
To conclude what you and your friends await:
3 individual trips to any place in Korea (each trip goes for 3 days and 2 nights)
the chance to make your own video content together with your friends
financial support during your trips
Recruitment number
60 people will be accepted into the program
*Team (4 people 1 team (including foreigners))
individual application available.
*When applying for individual participation, we will form a team.
※ The detailed schedule and location of the launching ceremony will be announced later.
※ If Corona 19 continues, the launching ceremony and OT may be replaced by non-face-to-face or team-specific meetings.
※ The above schedule is subject to change depending on the situation.
How to apply
1. Fill out and submit the application through'Application for Participation' at the top of the program.
2. Submit a copy of your passport by email. (hsy@koreagapyear.com)

Closed weekends & public holiday
A preliminary team/individual may participate if the final successful applicants do not attend the launch ceremony.
Photos and/or videos of participants’ trips may be used for promotional and marketing purposes by our side.
For the prevention of COVID-19 and the safety of our participants, participation is not possible if the safety rules are violated.
In the event of the spread of COVID-19, all programs may be temporarily suspended or terminated.
There is a limit on the amount of financial support you can apply for.
