The most disappointing thing wasShanghai''s high prices and cost of living. Considering Shanghai''s housing prices, perhaps they could work with more affordable companies or agents to reduce participants'' burden.

Although you go through a gap year program, when you actually go to China you''ll have to handle things yourself, so if you make the effortentirely new and varied experiencesyou will be able to try.
Q. What changes have you experienced through this project?
A changed perception of China, and increased confidence in myself (living abroad alone, conversational ability). Above all, one''s own effort is important.If you shrink back in your room out of fear, it will be as comfortable as at home, and if you step outside, you''ll see a unique environment you haven''t experienced beforeIt will be.

If a gap-year program includes an experience you knew about or wanted to try, and you truly want to experience it,choose experience over money.To the Beijing language-study coordinator: This was decided on short notice and proceeded on a tight schedule, and since it was the first project you ran it must have been very difficult, but thank you for managing everything smoothly from start to finish!
