I was reminded that the world is truly vast, there is so much to see, and so many diverse people, and after traveling it became an opportunity to feel more energized when returning to daily life.

    - "Jeju Blue Bike Trip: Riding with the Wind and Dreams" / Lee Eung-gyu, gap year traveler (gapper)

    - Participation period: April 7, 2014 ~ April 10, 2014

    - Where is the meeting point?

    Guesthouse

    - Did you have any problems getting to the meeting point? How did you find it? (transportation, cost, precautions, etc.)

There were no particular problems; I was able to find it quickly with the help of people around me.

    - After referring to the gap year program information, was there anything you needed before participating or anything that differed from reality?

There were no major differences, and the information was useful.

    - Any particularly memorable enjoyable experiences (or unpleasant experiences and how they were resolved) while participating in the gap year program?

I experienced the joy of going to unfamiliar places.

Through the gap year program I participated in: good points, moving moments, things I learned, realizations, etc.

When I got lost while traveling and received help, I was grateful to the people who helped as if it were their own concern.

This trip was unplanned, but I thought that even if it''s not a detailed plan, going with some degree of planning

    would be better.

Were there people you met or spent time with through the gap year program?

While staying at the guesthouse, I met a friend my age and ended up going to Gapado, which wasn''t planned.
    I ended up going.

What advice would you give, as a previous participant, to those who will join the gap year program?

It would be good to travel with some level of planning..

If you compare before and after participating in the gap year program?

I was reminded that the world is truly vast, there is so much to see, and there are many diverse people,

and after traveling it became an opportunity to feel more motivated when returning to everyday life.

Please tell us about your own travel route during the gap year (recommended places, schedule, route).

If you travel to Jeju Island, Seopjikoji is one of the must-visit places.

You will feel a refreshing sense of openness in your chest.

This was my first solo trip, and I was really happy to be able to have time to myself.Being alone allowed me to reflect on many things, and experiencing various trials and errors during the trip let me learn things step by step — I consider it a meaningful opportunity. If I have the chance, I''d like to go abroad for my next trip through Gap Year.It was a great opportunity to escape my tiring daily routine for a while and recharge. Thank you.
