About how to use time efficientlyIt made me think about it once again.

-Samyang, Jeju Island, I want to live there :: A romantic place where starlight pours down

Through the gap year program I participated in: Good points·What moved me, What I learned, Things I realized, etc.

First, the good points or things that moved me are that it could become a system that boosts confidence through having plenty of time

It is.. Korea, perhaps because it started later than other countries, still has many shortcomings in how that system is communicated

Anyway, whether you laze around and become an idler in a natural environment that no one sees or cares about,

or whether you return having found your individuality or strengths will depend on the participant''s characteristics and personality.

Therefore, if I were to recommend one method, Participants should try to experience it as if they were residents of Jeju.

You can personally experience that Jeju residents live with a unique sense of pride compared to other regions.

This is a very unique experience, People often say that South Koreans come together as one, but this place is not South Korea

It feels like another nation formed by citizens who prefer to live in their own ways.

If there were people you met or spent time with through the gap year program?

The ''Mayhen House'' uncle who is still saved in my KakaoTalk contacts. I''m sorry I couldn''t have a drink with you.

At the restaurant in Ninety-Nine-gol AruyoI sincerely thank you for giving me a ride in your car on the way to ''Aruyo''.

The other tourists who bought me noodles at Jamae Noodles. Saying we looked like their daughters and couldn''t bear to pass us by, they told us to enjoy the meal

That bowl of noodles they bought for us would occasionally come to mind during the tedious trip, and I don''t know how much it helped me.

Situated on the way to the Kim Young-gap GalleryOlle Cafethe owner''s sister, Thank you for kindly showing me how to write and send a postcard.

And even personally delivering the mail! I can''t thank you enough for your kindness. Your cafe will be a huge success.

To the owner-oppa of May''s Flower Cafe branch No.1. Thank you for the life discussion about love with my partner.~^^

The cafe interior, decorated in a unique and sweet way.. I already miss it..

This will be the motivation for me to visit Jeju in the future.. I''ll definitely stop by again..

If I were the gap year program planner, I would consider the following points in this program.Additions or changesI would make!

I''m posting this honestly in the hope that the gap year program, which had many shortcomings, will be further improved..

First, regarding what the gap year program means as seen by the guesthouse owner who coordinated the program and the gap year participants,

the difference in perspectives was too large.. The owner introduced us to his mother as '' staff'' by introducing us as.

It came across as if we were people working for pay. In fact, That''s not the case.

We are, above all, here to reflect on our own lives, or to establish a turning-point foothold in our lives by applying to the gap year program

as participants who applied. Wouldn''t such shortcomings call for responsibility and greater attention to detail from the gap year program coordinators?

I found it quite regrettable. Additionally, regarding the coordination with guesthouses, if there are any mistaken perceptions,

patience and effort to correct them also seem necessary.

If one had the financial means, it might be better to become a traveler and freely travel aloneand meet locals to learn about the local culture.

That might be nice... because for afternoon shift workers, they had to return by 4 o''clock while traveling,

it felt like the flow was interrupted. That was something I kept regretting.

If I were to give advice to participants who will join the gap year program later, as a prior participant,?

    1. Do not be swayed by others. Keep work strictly work, and spend a lot of time alone.

    2. If you go to a guesthouse with children, you don''t have to forcibly look after the kids if you don''t want to.

It''s a waste of time and energy.

3, If you don''t want to, you don''t need to force yourself to drink alcohol. This is not a place for company dinners..

The kind of alcohol you inevitably drink as part of social/work life, You don''t have to put yourself through drinking even at this gathering..

If you compare before and after taking part in a gap year program?

about how you should use your time to make it efficient

I found myself rethinking it..I really appreciate this..

Please tell us about your personal travel route during your gap year(Recommended places and itinerary, route)

Whether you want to become one with nature and have a healing time, or whether you''ll have strange and mysterious experiences in a museum

You must decide..This is an essential procedure..If you''ve decided everything, don''t just follow others because they''re going.

Don''t go, Go to the place you want to visit...

I don''t want to miss either relaxation or seeing museumsI want to experience both together. Both are great.…”

We recommend that those people stick to the basic theme..

Jeju Island, which has the most beautiful sea in South Korea.

Going for a full loop along the coast, And I highly recommend a walk along a forest path densely planted with cedar trees.

For pretty spots, Gotjawal, Eoseungsaeng-ak, Inside Bijarim Forest, Deer Ecology Observation Center, Andeok Valley, Hallim Park, HyeopjaeBeach, Woljeongri Beach, Udo.

When it comes to must-see attractions, Udo, Gimnyeong Maze Park, Jeju Stone Park, Hallim Park, Become a Whale Cafe, Jeolmul Natural Recreation Forest,

Jungmun Tourist Complex(Yeomiji Botanical Garden, Believe It or Not Museum, If you like dolphins, Pacific Land, Cheonjeyeon Falls)

    I recommend it — it''s a place that''s great in any season.

    II. Participant Experiences

I sincerely wish happiness to everyone participating in the gap year program.

First, I left the area where I had been living and came to Samyang-dong, Jeju Island, to rest and recuperate.

A quiet neighborhood with the beautiful sound of the waves
