A. 9/10
First, the island of Zanzibar itself is safe,and the coordinators managed volunteers diligently, so I could focus on volunteering with peace of mind.I think people who go to volunteer through the program want this kind of stability, so I believe it meets their needs. Also, the time outside volunteering is well organized,so you can enjoy volunteering and traveling at the same time,which I liked.
Q. Would you recommend this project?
A. 10/10
The experience of interacting with local children and bonding with volunteers from unfamiliar countries is a valuable thing that you can''t easily have outside of volunteering,and that''s why I think so.
Q. Have there been any changes in you after participating in this project?
A.My self-esteem and confidence greatly improvedThey did; in completely unfamiliar situations,the experiences of adapting on my own and overcoming problemsbecame the foundation.
Q. Do you have any final comments?
A. Although I only participated in one program,I had the impression that each participant was fully cared for.I received that impression. Also,I could feel that you are working to improve the quality of the program,so I came to expect quality in other programs as well. I asked many questions via KakaoTalk, and I am most grateful to the counselor who always answered sincerely. If that person had not been there, I would have struggled a lot choosing this program on my own. I don''t know their face or name, but I want to say thank you once again.
