ㅣ Location:   Goa, India

Goa is a coastal city in western India that was a Portuguese colony for 450 years. It offers a different atmosphere from the typical image of India. Every year, numerous foreign tourists visit the beaches of Goa to enjoy their holidays. With fresh and affordable food, lively night markets, non-stop clubs, and various festivals, Goa is full of attractions for you to enjoy!

ㅣ Recommended Travel Destinations

01 Anjuna Beach

Anjuna Beach is a famous beach in Goa known for its soft sandy shores, clean sea, delicious food, and various water sports. While it's great to enjoy playing in the water, simply sitting and gazing at the sea can also be very relaxing. Don't miss the Anjuna Flea Market held every Wednesday near the beach, where you can buy various items and souvenirs.

02 Basilica of Bom Jesus

The Basilica of Bom Jesus is one of the Roman Catholic churches built during the Portuguese colonial period, boasting a history of over 500 years. As Goa was once known as the 'Rome of the East,' you can find traces of Catholicism throughout the city. The Basilica of Bom Jesus is also a UNESCO World Heritage site and houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier, which reportedly have not decayed even after hundreds of years. Witness this miraculous historical relic for yourself!

03 Fontainhas

Fontainhas is a Latin Quarter located in Panaji, the capital of Goa. The narrow streets lined with Portuguese-era mansions give a European rather than Indian vibe. Take a walk among the colorful buildings and capture some great photos! As you stroll through, you'll feel the traces of centuries of history.
