FIELD INTRODUCTION AND ACTIVITIES

Our volunteer program caters to individuals who are passionate about making a difference and possess a generous spirit,for those do not want to be spending the whole time inside the office and want to go out and expore the world. We offer Volunteer positions in Cummunity & Education field.

  • Meal Distribution: Help prepare and distribute meals to vulnerable populations, such as the homeless or elderly, ensuring that everyone has access to nutritious food.
  • Community Events: Assist in organizing and facilitating community events, to promote social cohesion and engagement.
  • Shelter Support: Providing assistance with basic needs, organizing activities for residents, and offering a supportive presence to those in need.

Volunteering in community support initiatives with KGY allows you to directly impact the lives of local residents and contribute to the well-being of underserved communities. From assisting in meal distribution programs to organizing community events, your efforts play a vital role in fostering a sense of unity and support within the community. 

  • Tutoring: Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in subjects like English, math, science, or computer skills, helping them improve their academic performance and confidence.

During your stay, you will be accommodated in a shared space with 4 to 8 participants. The accommodation offers a comfortable and safe environment where you can relax, connect with others, and enjoy a sense of community.

Breakfast is provided to help you start your day.

Welcome to the KGY VOLUNTEER  Program – where every step of your journey is carefully crafted to ensure a fulfilling and unforgettable experience!

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Age: 18+
  • Level of English and/or Korean: Basic+
  • Commitment to Host Organization, its rules, and tasks
  • You fulfill all legal and formal requirements for your Volunteering
NOTE
  • Details about working conditions such as days and hours may vary depending on the Organization being placed.
  • Volunteers will not work on public holidays in South Korea. (If you starting date is a Monday it follows on a red day you will be working the following day)
  • Only available for age over 18+
  • Potential Organization Placements Information will not be given out prior to confirmed application due to privacy reasons
