PROJECT INTRODUCTION
This project involves teaching English in Hua Hin, Thailand, giving wings to children to dream bigger. Just by visiting Hua Hin to meet the children, you open new possibilities for them. Join us to provide more opportunities for the children!
Children in Hua Hin don't have many opportunities to learn proper English. There is a shortage of teachers, and even the existing teachers' English proficiency is not fluent enough.
In a resort city frequently visited by international tourists, English proficiency becomes a competitive edge for the children. Therefore, English education plays a crucial role for them. The better their English, the more options they will have.
Just by spending time with the children who greet their teachers with innocent smiles, you can guide their lives in a better direction. Help the growing children in Hua Hin to dream freely about their future! You will spend the most valuable time contributing to their bright lives.
1. Nurture children's dreams along with improving their English skills!
Open up a broader world for the children.
Through time spent with international volunteers from around the world, the children will learn diverse and vibrant English. Such learning opportunities, rarely available in daily life, can open paths for the children in Hua Hin to dream new dreams.
Why is it important for children to learn English? Because English proficiency directly impacts their lives. When the children reach working age, their ability to use English can lead to a wage difference of about 2.5 to 3.5 times. Higher wages help the children maintain a life without shortages, and in a stable life, they can dream of a broader world. Support the children as they prepare to move toward the future!
2. Gain practical experience in English education with innocent and bright children.
In this project, you will not only assist local teachers but also gain practical teaching experience by planning and conducting classes for the children. Together with volunteers from around the world, you will brainstorm and find ways to complement existing teaching methods.
Don't worry if you have no experience in teaching or lecturing! Local teachers and coordinators will be there to help you prepare classes for the children. All you need to do is show your passion for the children in Hua Hin. With the children responding with bright smiles, you will build confidence in yourself.
3. Experience a time of learning more than teaching and returning with new insights.
You will meet many diverse people whom you wouldn't easily meet in your daily life in Hua Hin, including children showing pure love, dedicated local staff always doing their best with smiling faces, and passionate international friends from all over the world.
Spending time with so many people will introduce you to new thoughts and experiences you haven't had before, and you will naturally broaden your view of the world. Initially, it may feel unfamiliar and overwhelming, but if you open your heart and approach, you will meet yourself growing with the help of new people in a new environment.
When all the time passes and you return to your daily life, the memories of those moments will remain as happiness and become the strength to live your life.
