PROGRAM INTRODUCTION

PROJECT INTRODUCTION

This project involves providing medical services in the slums of Jaipur, India. Please join us in helping slum residents who are unable to receive treatment for even simple diseases due to difficult living conditions recover their healthy lives.

The medical center in the slums of Jaipur lacks sufficient manpower. Volunteer assistance is especially crucial during the summer season when the number of patients with seasonal diseases or infections increases.

To participate in medical volunteering, all you need is a willing heart to practice love. You will witness a transforming Jaipur through your love and dedication!

1. Meaningful and fulfilling medical volunteer work! It's easy for anyone to get involved.

Think again if you believe medical volunteering is only for professionals! Anyone can participate in this volunteer activity, even those without experience or a related major. From simple office work to assisting with nursing tasks and supporting medical camps, participants can engage in various activities according to their abilities.

In Jaipur, where professionals and non-professionals come together, do your best in your role to create a better world. You will feel a sense of fulfillment when you see the bright smiles of local residents visiting the hospital.

2. Learn about life from friends around the world and expand your own horizons.

Meet countless friends from around the world in Jaipur, India. You can hear various life stories from friends who chose medical volunteering for different reasons, such as gaining practical experience, spending a rewarding holiday, or having a healing time.

Living with friends you wouldn't easily meet in everyday life, learn different ways of life from yours. You will gain a new perspective that allows you to see beyond your mindset and grow by encountering a broader world. Don't miss the opportunity for growth that you can experience in Jaipur, India!

3. Enjoy the highlights of Northern India, including the Golden Triangle, to your heart's content.

The three cities in northern India, Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, form the Golden Triangle, a representative tourist course of India. It is easy to travel between cities as they are well-connected by rail.

Delhi, the capital of India, is the starting point for most travelers. About three hours south of Delhi is Agra, where you can visit the Taj Mahal, India's most famous heritage site. Another four hours west from Agra brings you to the Pink City, Jaipur. The Golden Triangle journey, which offers the most vivid experience of India, will make your every day more enriching.

PROGRAM LOCATION INTRODUCTION

LOCATION INTRODUCTION

Location  :   Jaipur, India

Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan, located in northern India. In the mid-19th century, the entire city was painted pink to commemorate the visit of the Prince of Wales, earning it the nickname Pink City. To this day, building regulations require structures to be painted in similar hues, maintaining the city's reputation as the Pink City. They even sell a combined ticket for tourists to use over two days, which will be very helpful for your Jaipur travels.

Recommended Travel Spots

01 Hawa Mahal

Hawa Mahal, painted in beautiful colors, is the most striking building in Jaipur. The Hawa Mahal, with its impressive 900 small windows, was built for the king's women who were forbidden to go outside. It is designed so that people inside can see out, but those outside cannot see in. The hundreds of windows also act as ventilators, keeping the interior cool even during the hot summer, hence the name Palace of Winds.

02 Amber Palace

Amber Palace is a fort built in the mountains, renowned for its artistic value, blending Islamic and Indian cultures. It is also the most majestic fort in India, attracting numerous tourists daily with its splendid halls, courtyards, centuries-old temples, and breathtaking views of the beautiful lake below.

03 Albert Hall Museum

Built in the 1800s, this elegant building, known as the Government Central Museum, is used as a museum capturing Jaipur's history.
