INSTITUTION INTRODUCTION

The history of traditional Thai massage dates back to ancient times and has its roots in Thai Buddhism. Monks, who had to maintain the same posture for extended periods, would stretch their muscles daily, which led to the development of traditional Thai massage techniques. Initially passed down orally, these techniques began to be formally taught through educational institutions, and our organization is now recognized as the world's leading Thai traditional massage school.

Our organization is a traditional Thai massage school that started in a Buddhist temple in the 1950s. Located in Bangkok, this temple was Thailand's first medical college and is where records related to traditional Thai massage are permanently stored. Here, you can learn traditional Thai massage directly from the place known as the birthplace of Thai medicine. Each year, it produces numerous graduates, both local and international, and attracts students from various nationalities. Participants will stay and study with international students at a training campus located about 40 minutes by car from downtown Bangkok.
