Surfing Journey in Search of Freedom!
Are you tired of the monotonous daily routine? How about breaking free from boredom and enjoying your activity?
Experience the sweet rest that comes with surfing in Goheung!
Goheung is a beloved destination for many, attracting surfers with the unique opportunity to surf in the South Sea.
Relieve your stress by riding the waves while gazing at Goheung's beautiful sea.
Can anyone easily learn to surf?!
This project, held at Namyeol Sunrise Beach—the only place in the South Sea where you can surf—offers activities that even beginners can enjoy.
Experienced instructors and coaches, who have run surf shops at Namyeol Beach for the longest period, teach surfing safely and systematically.
With a diverse range of instructors, you can learn everything from theoretical lessons to how to wear a wetsuit.
For those who wish to improve their surfing skills, don't worry! We also offer advanced lessons.
Enhance your board control skills with our surf coaches and enjoy the thrill of riding waves and free surfing in the ocean.
With lessons tailored to your level, anyone can properly learn how to surf!
In the evening, watch the sunset and express your freedom to the wide-open sea!
What makes this project special
Project Activities
This project offers activities where you can fully enjoy surfing in Goheung, Jeollanam-do.
It is divided into beginner lessons and skill-up lessons for those who have completed the beginner course.
For experienced surfers, we also offer a board rental service. If you are interested, please inquire separately.

Organization Introduction
This institution is the first surfing shop established at Namyeol Sunrise Beach, boasting a proud 8-year history.
We hold ISA International Surfing Coach Certification, Water Safety Certification, and Surf Rescue Certification. With experience in surf rescue teams and private maritime rescue, we teach surfing safely and systematically.

Surfing is a sport that anyone can enjoy fairly with just the sea and aboard.
We have been surfing, longing for a life in the sea, and operating a surf shop to find colleagues with the same mindset.

Location Introduction
LOCATION: SOUTH KOREA, Jeollanam-do, Goheung
Located in the southwestern part of the Korean Peninsula, Goheung County in Jeollanam-do consists of Goheung Peninsula, 38 inhabited islands, and 122 uninhabited islands.
Except for its border with Boseong County, it is surrounded by the South Sea, fostering a close relationship between residents' lives and transportation with the ocean.
Known as an aerospace city, Goheung is renowned for the Naro Space Center and the Space Launch Observation Deck, particularly noted for its stunning coastal scenery, making it a landmark of Goheung.
Moreover, Goheung is famous for its specialty products such as yuzu and pomegranates cultivated in clear and pristine natural environments, as well as true yellowtail produced only in certain areas along the Namhae Coast.
From aerospace to surfing and fresh local specialties, Goheung offers a diverse range of attractions.

1. Naro Space Center Space Science Museum
The Naro Space Center Space Science Museum is where Korea's dreams and hopes in space begin. This museum features a permanent exhibition themed around the basics of space, including rockets, satellites, and space exploration, with over 90 exhibits available for interactive exploration. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, it offers facilities such as a special exhibition hall, 3D and 4D theaters, and an outdoor exhibition area, providing various opportunities to easily engage with and enjoy space science. Located on Naro Island, this space science museum is a must-visit destination. We also recommend visiting Sook Island along with Naro Island to fully enjoy your trip!
2. Palgyeong Mountain
Palgyeong Mountain is the tallest mountain in Goheung, consisting of eight peaks known for its rugged terrain and abundance of rocky cliffs. The panoramic view of the Dadohae Sea from the summit of Palgyeong Mountain is considered one of the most beautiful landscapes in Goheung. When you see it in person, you'll be overwhelmed by the stunning scenery spread out before your eyes. The curving islands of Goheung and their coastlines meeting the sea are another gift bestowed by Palgyeong Mountain. With several hiking trails available, it's a recommended destination for hiking enthusiasts visiting Goheung.
3. The Pine and Oak Forest on Wainaro Island
The Pine and Oak Forest on Wainaro Island is situated on Bongnaesan Mountain. While Bongnaesan Mountain is renowned for its sea views from the summit, it garners even more attention for its lush, rare forest of dense green trees, unlike any other found elsewhere in Korea. Established over 100 years ago, these 200,000 square meters of pine and oak tree groves provide a serene resting place for hikers at any time. Designated as a national forestry cultural asset, Wainaro Island's Pine and Oak Forest was created to transform barren forests into beautiful, healthy woodlands, attracting numerous tourists today
