The craft beer market is growing rapidly as more people seek new and unique beer flavors and related regulations are relaxed.In this project, participants will learn the beer production process directly from brewing experts in Australia, which ranks among the top 1% worldwide in beer consumptionand, through an internship at a brewery (a craft beer brewery),you can gain hands-on practical experienceYou can learn.Experience the entire beer-making process with your own hands and nurture your dream of becoming a brewmaster, a promising future profession!For those who want to work in alcohol-related industries such as import liquor companies, brewing technology development companies, and house-beer specialist companies,thiswill become your incomparable story.
* This project is an integrated education and internship program where you can experience everything from basics to hands-on practice. It runs twice a year, in May and October.

■ Brewmaster (Brew Master)
A brewmaster is also called a beer master, brewing technician, or brewer.A brewmaster selects the beer's main ingredients, yeast and malt, cultivates yeast to ferment, matures the beer to achieve the best flavor, manages the brewing process, and is responsible for the quality control of the finished beer.

Participants in this project should be able to communicate at a basic level in listening and speaking and understand vocabulary related to the training activities.
It is also recommended to study basic brewing terminology in advance.
2. Training Course (5 days)
- Training runs for 5 days from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Day 1: Essential Brewing Course
The essential brewing course provides basic instruction on the overall beer brewing process for making beer at home, hygiene management, how malt, yeast, hops, and water affect beer flavor, and covers essential brewing tips, professional brewing techniques, and how to properly taste beer.
* Malt: germinated barley, i.e., barley sprouts.
* Hop: an ingredient that gives beer its distinctive aroma and flavor, contributes to foam, and helps prevent spoilage.
Curriculum
Morning session - education on brewing grains and malt, yeast, hops, and water.
Afternoon session - hygiene, bottling, three essential brewing tips, creating your own homebrewing system, and cautions when tasting craft beer.
* Bottling: the process of putting alcoholic drinks or beverages into bottles (bottling).
Days 2–5: Brewmaster Course
The Brewmaster course goes beyond homebrewing and teaches the professional techniques used by brewmasters in small craft breweries such as house beers. You will learn 12 precautions for brewing, 7 secrets to making good beer, recipes for various beer styles, tasting methods, and spend time visiting actual breweries for practical training.

Day 2
Morning session - explanation of brewing grains, 12 precautions during brewing, 7 secrets to making good beer, and the importance of malt.
Afternoon session - malt production methods and adjuncts, everything about hops, and an explanation of yeast and fermentation1

Day 3
Morning session - Explanation of yeast and fermentation 2
Afternoon session - Mashing and how to design a good beer, bottling, kegging, and practical exercises
*Mashing: the process of dissolving sugars to make wort.
*Kegging: the process of transferring beer into kegs (beer storage containers).
Day 4
Morning session – Visit a craft brewery and conduct hands-on brewing practice based on what you've learned so far.
Afternoon session – Lecture on water, filtration, and oxygen control methods that affect beer flavor.
Day 5
Morning class - Taste craft beers and learn how to discern beer flavors.
Afternoon class – Conclude the course with brewing practice at a craft brewery.
Brewery Internship (craft brewery)
A two-week internship will be conducted at a brewery in Melbourne based on what you've learned so far. The training venue and the brewery where the internship takes place are located about 6–7 minutes apart.
Internship Program (2 weeks)
- 5-day work week, lunch provided, working hours 09:00–17:00
- Assist the brewmaster with general brewing operations
- Bottling and kegging (filling bottles and kegs)
- Monitoring for yeast removal and fermentation andbeer order management, etc.

1. Homestay
A homestay involves living with a local family in the country where an international student is staying, allowing you to learn the country’s culture and language. Living with the family helps improve language skills through communication and provides understanding of their lifestyle, values, and cultural practices.
2. Guesthouse
A guesthouse is accommodation where the kitchen, bathroom, and shower are shared. Rooms may be assigned as 4-person rooms or dormitories of 6 to 8 people, with several travelers sharing a room. When traveling briefly to another country, staying in a guesthouse lets you meet various travelers, share stories, and exchange travel information.
3. Apartment share
An apartment share is a type of accommodation where about 5–6 international students rent a house and live together. Depending on the condition of the home, you can choose a private room or share a room with one roommate. Unlike a homestay, it is not a family arrangement; residents share household tasks such as meals, cleaning, and laundry with their housemates. It offers the advantage of living and socializing with friends from various countries.
