    Urgent ApplicationInformation

    We recommend applying for all Gap Year projects at least 3 months before the project start date to allow for normal processing and preparation time; as a rule, applications should be submitted no later than 2 months prior. However, if unavoidable circumstances require urgent participation, you may pay an additional fee for the urgent application service to expedite processing as much as possible.

    *We assist with the fastest possible processing, but there is still basic time required for communication with local organizations and for confirming participation, and because all procedures proceed the same as for regular participants,participants using the urgent application service must actively cooperatewith the Korea Gap Year operations team.

    - What is provided:Automatic registration for Gap Year missions and notes / Immediate provision of all OT materials upon confirmation of participation / Deployment of additional urgent staff / Support with document preparation if needed, etc.

    **Note: In the case of super-urgent applications, there may be no available slots depending on local circumstances, and subsequent procedures will proceed according to the Gap Year refund policy.Also,any problems caused by the participant's lack of cooperation are the participant's responsibility.

    Important Notes

    1. This program3 to 4 monthsIt is recommended that you apply with that amount of lead time.
    2. A passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining beyond the program period is required.
    3. No refunds will be issued for participants' personal reasons after the program is confirmed.
    4. Participants are considered to have agreed to the gap year refund policy upon applying for the project.
    5. This project applies a refund policy. A full 100% refund is available before project participation is confirmed, and cancellations after confirmation are not refundable. For details about refunds,Gap Year Refund Policyplease refer to it.
    6. Project schedules and activities may vary due to local conditions (transportation, weather changes, etc.) or local partner circumstances, and may be reduced or modified if necessary.
    7. This project is operated by a project organization partnered with Korea Gap Year. Therefore, responsibility for actual operation rests with the local project organization.
    8. For overseas travel safety information, the travel alert levels operated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are divided into four levels: Travel Advisory / Refrain from Travel / Evacuation Recommendation / Travel Ban, and detailed information is available on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 'Overseas Safe Travel' site (www.0404.go.kr) where detailed information can be found.
    9. Please book flights and transportation only after your project participation is confirmed and you have received the final departure schedule. We provide individual guidance on schedules after participation is confirmed.
