Understanding yourself is one of the most important things in our lives. To properly recognize your emotions, thoughts, desires, and valuesand, based on that, determine the direction and choices of your lifeThis means making decisions about life's direction and choices. However, we often make choices that are not what we truly want due to outside opinions or social expectations. If this happens repeatedly, we can feel unclear about who we are and what we want, which can negatively affect quality of life and sense of direction. If you do not understand yourself properly, unstable emotional states can persist, and the likelihood of losing life's goals and directionincreases. Also, if you are not clear about your needs and emotions, it can lead to depression or self-criticism, and you may face conflicts in relationships or difficulty making important decisions.
On the other hand, if you understand yourself and make choices based on that, your self-confidence improvesand, you can effectively set life goalsThis kind of self-understandingbuilds the ability to regulate emotionswhich reduces stress, and helps form better interpersonal relationshipsas well.
This mission isa process of discovering what you want and which emotions and thoughts drive your life.Self-understanding goes beyond simple self-exploration; it is a key to improving quality of life, enriching relationships, and designing a more stable and happier life.
The mission has been designed with a focus on the three items below.
1. Understanding my appearance, behavior, and thoughts
The first step to understanding yourself isPractice calmly observing in which situations I usually feel comfortable and in which environments I feel uncomfortable. It is also a process of observing what appearance and behaviors you show when you feel comfort or discomfort, and what thoughts you are having. Through these processes you can find recurring patterns, and if certain behavioral patterns repeat, it is necessary to examine why that is and reflect on those behaviors. It is also a good method to see how your thoughts lead to certain emotions, or how emotions are connected to certain thoughts and decisions.
2. Setting a clear life direction and goals
Understanding yourself is a process of setting life goals. When you know what values you hold, what interests you, and what situations make you happy, you can set goals that match them. This allows you to choose your own path without being swayed by external pressures or expectations. Also, knowing your strengths and weaknesses well helps you create more achievable plans when setting goals.
3. Effectively manage stress and emotions
When you understand yourself, you can better grasp and regulate the flow of thoughts and emotionsYou will be able to do so. For example, you can understand why you feel anxious or angry in certain situations and find ways to handle those emotions better. Awareness of your thoughts and emotions greatly helps with stress management. Through the process of understanding yourself, you learn to recognize your emotions and how to process them in positive ways, enabling you to maintain a healthier mental balance in daily life.
