Q. What are the benefits of doing an internship abroad?
Doing an internship abroad helps you build the ability to adapt to various environments while gaining professional experience.
Additionally, you can learn specialized English (or the local language) used in the workplace and build a network in your field, which broadens your perspective on career opportunities.
If you're specifically aiming for international employment, an overseas internship allows you to experience foreign companies in advance and prepare for international career opportunities. Discover your unique abilities that you might not have known about while doing an overseas internship!

Q. Are there paid internships?Internships abroad are focused on education and provide practical work experience rather than simple tasks, so most are unpaid. Furthermore, paid internships require participants to have enough experience and qualifications to handle the responsibilities, leading to higher initial costs due to the time, personnel, and effort needed to match participants with companies.
However, as the hourly wage in Argentina is lower than in our country, the actual salary for interns is relatively small. Therefore, starting with an unpaid internship to gain valuable work experience and build a career for future domestic or international employment is recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. What are the difficulties in an overseas internship?
During your work, you will encounter a variety of people and environments. Moreover, since Argentina has a different cultural background from ours, there may be things that are hard to understand. However, if you overcome these difficulties with an open mind and a spirit of challenge, your understanding of the culture and your work skills will improve significantly. One way to prevent difficulties is to travel locally before the internship begins and learn to respect and understand the local culture. Also, if you encounter difficulties while working or living, there is always a local mentor available to help, so don't worry!
Q2. What kind of institutions will I be interning at?
Participants will be placed in private companies or public institutions in Cordoba. This will depend on the participant's field of application, experience, major, etc., and will be finalized after discussion with the participant. Once the internship institution is confirmed, refunds and changes are not possible, so please choose your application field carefully.
Q3. What kind of insurance do I need?
You need an insurance product that covers overseas illness, overseas injury, and liability, and the insurance period should cover from the start date of the project to the end date. Generally, contacting the overseas insurance department of an insurance company will help you find the relevant insurance products easily.
Q4. How many hours do I generally work?
You will generally work between 20 and 30 hours per week, with a typical schedule of 5 days a week, up to 6 hours per day. However, depending on the field and institution, work schedules may vary, including shift work or daily work. Also, if the institution requires extra work before deadlines, you may voluntarily work extra hours, but if work becomes too overwhelming, you can adjust it through discussions with your supervisor or local mentor. During any free time outside of the internship, feel free to learn Spanish or plan trips with friends to enjoy your own time!
Q5. What if I don't like the company I am interning at?
The internship institution is finalized through discussions with the participant. Generally, the search for an institution is based on the participant's preferences and abilities, and after introducing the institution, the participant can choose to approve or reject the proposed company. If you reject, the institution search process will be repeated (up to 8 weeks). Once the internship institution is confirmed, changes or cancellations are not possible, so clearly express the type of institution you desire when preparing your resume, cover letter, and application form to ensure a smoother connection with the institution.
