PROGRAM INTRODUCTION

PROJECT INTRODUCTION

Shopping, dining, and the global fashion capital: New York!

This project is designed for those who want to escape everyday life without leaving the city. Enjoy a leisurely brunch amidst New York's dazzling neon lights and towering buildings, and savor moments of calm in the bustling city! A month is barely enough to experience all the luxury, shopping, and international cuisine New York has to offer.

Just like New Yorkers who embrace individuality, New York is the perfect city to showcase your personal style. Express your fashion boldly in any situation and confidently stroll through the streets, and you might even hear someone ask "Where did you get that outfit?" while exploring the design shops in SoHo. If you've been suppressing your individuality in Korea, take this chance to flaunt your style and regain your confidence in New York! No need to worry—this is New York!

New York is packed with things to see and do, so spending just two nights and three days to visit only the tourist spots would be a real shame! Experience the privileges of New Yorkers, including shopping, dining, and cultural activities, through a long-term stay. This project isn’t just about sightseeing; it’s about learning the balance between work and leisure that New Yorkers practice. Refresh your mind and create your own lifestyle by learning from the locals!

Worried about not being able to communicate while spending a month in the U.S.? Don’t worry! This project is designed to help you enjoy New York’s culture and glamour while also improving your English skills and boosting your confidence.

Located in the Financial District, known as the city's "heart" for finance and law, you will attend a specialized school where you can study practical, conversation-based English with classmates from various countries. The school’s staff are always available to support your language learning and daily life in New York. You will also have the opportunity to make friends from all over the world! Everything is set up for you, so don’t worry, just go and enjoy!

 1. The Perfect Balance of Work and Leisure

New Yorkers lead very simple lives. When they work, they work; when they finish, they leave work behind. After a planned day, you can easily see New Yorkers enjoying their free time with a light meal in Central Park. Join them in enjoying this leisurely lifestyle and truly unwind!

2. Start Your Day with a Light Greeting!

New Yorkers often greet even strangers in the elevator with a simple "How are you today?" or compliment their coat. Such greetings add a touch of cheer to the day, making New York a place where you can start each day on a positive note.

3. Honesty and Respect!

New Yorkers appreciate and respect clear and honest attitudes. They respect individuality and personal preferences, avoiding actions that impose or harm others. You’ll frequently see people expressing their opinions and sharing their thoughts openly. Embrace your own uniqueness and boost your confidence in New York!

"Before coming to the U.S., I knew no English and worried a lot, but after attending the academy for three months, I learned so much. Not only did my English improve, but I also learned about American culture and made friends from different countries, learning about their cultures as well. It was a truly meaningful three months, and I highly recommend it." Kim * Yeol

"Among the language schools in New York, this one offers great value and weekly activities that allow you to make many memories with various international friends :-)"  Choi * Hye

The city, which is undeniably a cultural hub, offers everything one could imagine. The homestay option allows you to live with locals. However, since homestays are usually in residential areas outside Manhattan, additional transportation costs for travel may apply. The residence option offers private rooms with shared spaces and is available for both male and female students. Availability and pricing depend on the timing and schedule, so please inquire individually.

※ If participating with a companion, request in advance to check the possibility of using a double room.
※ Please adhere to the rules and regulations of each accommodation facility.
※ Cancellation or changes to accommodation may incur additional costs or be difficult to process, so please make a careful decision.
※ Accommodation rates may vary depending on the time of use, changes in living costs, and actual stay period.
※ Check-in and check-out dates may vary depending on the accommodation option, and homestays may incur peak season costs (June to September).
※ For more details on accommodations, please inquire (contact: koreagapyear@gmail.com)
