[Kalimera! A place where cheerful greetings are heard] Calimera! (Kali mera! Hello) As you walk down the streets of Greece, you will hear cheerful greetings. Greece is a country with inherently optimistic people and is friendly and gentle to foreigners without racial prejudice. Perhaps it’s the Greek salad made with goat’s milk cheese, fresh vegetables, and lots of olive oil drizzled with olive oil or the quality wine, but the atmosphere is relaxed and laid-back. Additionally, seniors in Greece, the best country to live in for seniors, are generally cheerful and relaxed. Since Greece has the largest spending on welfare for the elderly among OECD countries, the Silver Town has already been fully implemented. Accordingly, Greek seniors enjoy their own culture, which is different from our country. It will also be a fun experience for Greek seniors to hear stories about Greek and Roman mythology that they read as children. Visit Greece, a place with white houses and sky-blue roofs that harmonize with the blue sky, and enjoy leisure and freedom to the fullest!
Organization
It is the most professional and systematic organization among Greek senior welfare organizations. This is a place that hires specialized experts and professors, evaluates program courses every year, and continuously conducts research for a better environment and program. In addition, it has the longest stay system among Greek senior welfare institutions, so it provides excellent senior welfare services.
You can learn the overall flow. In the medical field, specialized medical treatment methods include healing methods through music, programs for leisure activities through various activities, functional occupational therapy to help seniors live independently in daily life, cognitive training programs for memory, and psychological treatment counseling. We are helping to improve dementia among seniors. Especially in the medical field for patients with dementia.

•English required ★★★☆☆
You can participate as long as you have basic communication skills that are enough to carry out simple tasks in terms of listening and speaking. If you can speak a little Greek, you can chat with seniors and be their companion.
This program allows you to choose between working 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, or 4 days a week, 10 hours a day.

Nurse intern
You will be responsible for professionally managing and assisting the health of seniors. We assist when moving for rehabilitation activities or various activities, and focus on health management and daily life management according to the needs of seniors. Additionally, we assist with programs such as psychological therapy and occupational therapy.
Psychotherapist Intern
As people age or the duration of dementia increases, psychological depression occurs. Psychotherapy is used to help these people calm their minds and prevent them from feeling anxious. Art therapy using music and art provides psychological stability and helps maintain long-term and short-term memory by using unused muscles. You will study psychotherapy for a long time and learn professional psychotherapy methods by assisting an experienced psychotherapist.
Physical therapist intern
As we age, the movement of joints and bones becomes slower and motor functions become weaker. Additionally, the job of a physical therapist is to use physical methods to relieve and restore discomfort in the arms, legs, and back due to symptoms such as arthritis. You will assist a physical therapist who specializes in physical therapy and learn how to provide treatment tailored to the patient.

Travel information
Meteora Monasteries
The Meteora Monasteries in Greece, one of the world’s historic sites that you must visit before you die, are floating in the air.
It is called a monastery. That’s because the monastery is built on a carved peak, so when viewed from a distance or on foggy days it appears to be floating in the air. So, it is a place that gives off a mysterious atmosphere, like something out of a myth or legend.
Additionally, murals created by famous Greek painters are beautifully hung on the inner walls of the monastery. It was used as a place for monks of the past to cut themselves off from the world and at the same time train and engage in various artistic activities to protect themselves from religious oppression.
Because it is built on a high peak, it has an interesting story about how people and goods at that time could only be transported using pulleys. Currently, a small number of monks and nuns are practicing in the monastery while maintaining culture and tradition.
Santorini Island
A place where white houses with blue roofs are lined up on a hill with the sea as the background! This is Santorini Island. This place was once the setting for the Pocari Sweat CF, in which Son Ye-jin wore a white dress and rode a white bicycle, which became a hot topic.
Like Jeju Island, Santorini Island, which was created through a volcanic eruption, has many cliffs. A must-see on the island of Santorini is that the roof of the house below serves as a terrace for the neighboring house.
The sunset over the Aegean Sea from a terrace or an open-air cafe in Santorini is a sight so beautiful that it was chosen as the wallpaper for your windows, so we recommend that you don’t miss it and come see it.
Acropolis
The Acropolis of Athens is visited by many travelers because it is the foundation of Western history. Acropolis, the center of Athens, means ‘city built on a high hill’.
If you go here, you can admire the wonders of the Parthenon, the most famous and gigantic temple and UNESCO World Heritage Site No. 1. Also, don’t forget to climb up to the Acropolis for a panoramic view of Athens cityscape!
