Let’s Inspire Dreams in the Young.
Today, many young people in Korea are thrust into endless competition for college entrance exams without even having the time to think about their dreams. Most students end up choosing their university and major based on their grades, following societal and cultural trends, and even after entering college, they often wander without finding their true passion. This focus on chasing only large corporate jobs, rather than pursuing careers aligned with personal dreams and aptitudes, leads to higher unemployment rates and the rise of “freeters” (unemployed young graduates who rely on part-time jobs), causing negative impacts on society.
At Korea Gap Year, our mission is to help young people broaden their horizons and discover their dreams through various programs that they can participate in during the school year and vacations. By allowing them to explore fields they are truly passionate about, we aim to bring positive change to Korean society.

As time passes, more and more young people feel disillusioned with their dreams. Without the time to reflect on what they truly want, they are swept up in the relentless competition of exams.
At Korea Gap Year, our goal is to bring positive change to the lives of young people who will lead Korean society. We strive to provide opportunities for them to gain diverse experiences, broaden their perspectives, and discover their true passions.
