    # WHAT AM I LEARNING

What do I do in the company? That was the next thing you had in mind, right? Yes, I am a Digital Marketing Intern. So mainly do Social Media Management, Content Creation, Design, and Research. I have a good team here and everyone treats me good. Importantly, I am learning a lot from them! As an example, when creating content, how to grab attention in 3 seconds?

Also, as an Intern the responsibilities make you work better and do better, right? In KoreaGapYear from the beginning, I got access to the Social Media account which is amazing and it made me go further and create and design posts, reels and stories for KoreaGapYear.

    # COMPANY CULTURE

The speciality in KoreaGapYear is everyone has a bond, you can sense the warm feeling in the company atmosphere. As a company, we don’t only work and leave home. We do extra stuff to strengthen the bond. Interestingly, one day we were called to clean the company together which paved the way to an opportunity to get to know other members from other departments, it was a nice experience that I had in KoreaGapYear!

    # ACTIVITIES
On the other day, Korea GapYear organized a Social Program for the International participants and KoreaGapYear team members. We had a wonderful get together on a Moon Light Cruise Ride at the Han river (한강)! It was nice to freshen ourselves after work and interact with other International participants while watching the Light Show from the Rainbow Bridge. We finished the Cruise Night with Korean Stir-fried Chicken (닭갈비).

    # EXPERIENCES

Every Moment in Korea has been an Experience for me both Personally and Professionally. Getting out of my comfort zone taught me a lot about being independent and managing finance in a whole new country, which I never visited before! Korea GapYear helped me much in figuring things out in South Korea which I am thankful for.

This milestone in my life I would never be able to forget. The people I met, the moments that I had, the places I went and the food I tasted. Everything will be well stored in my memory and I want to cherish them well. All these experiences made me grow as a different person and trim my skills into a future professional stepping into my work life!

    # BENEFITS OF INTERNING IN SOUTH KOREA

As an intern, I am thrilled to be able to work in South Korea, where you can have lots of fun after work. Spoiler Alert! Guys, in Korea, everyone can have fun in their way because Korea is known for Variety. If you’re a person who wants to live an Urban Life, that’s possible in the Dynamic Capital City, Seoul. Are you more into history? You have grand Palaces in Korea where you can live a one day life as a King, Queen, Prince, Princess or Scholar whomever you want by renting the traditional clothes, Hanbok (한복) and take pictures which will make you cherish the moment for the rest of your lives!

    # CULTURE IN SOUTH KOREA

Now time for people who are interested in tradition, well you’re good to go too. In Korea, you have a lot of places like the Buckchon Hanok Village (북촌 한옥마을), where you can find the traditional architecture, food and culture of the area. Are you interested in Street Art? Then places like Insa Dong (인사 동) can retreat your senses by juggling, card tricks and much more! Korea has something for everyone with different and unique tastes. I am happy that I made the right decision on my Internship because I have lots of things in one go, I intern, travel, eat good food, experience new adventures and much more!
