#Interest and confidence in the nursing profession #Cambodian medical volunteering, practical experience #Pride, confidence, gratitude

Cambodian medical volunteer program treating children that anyone can join.
Q. Please let us know your satisfaction with the project. Please tell us. If you were satisfied, what did you like?
A. 7 out of 10.
In Korea, during clinical practice there were few opportunities to directly give injections or perform medical procedures on patients...I had few opportunities to do them directly.
Here I was able to try a lot and build up my skills a bit. However, the range of experiences I could try...
was limited to one or two procedures, which was a bit disappointing.
*Cambodia has a history of French colonial rule, so medical professionals in hospitals may use English or French in addition to the local Khmer. If you want to gain more professional and extensive experience, study English or French in advance so you can communicate with the medical staff and gain more experience!
Q. Would you recommend this project?
A.7out of 10.
1. You can practice giving many injections to patients.
2. You can compare the practices of nurses from other countries.
3. I became interested in the profession of nursing.
4. It''s voluntary rather than obligatory, so there''s less pressure and you feel proud to be someone who is needed.
5. You can experience hospitals in another country.
6. You can experience a different culture.
Q. Have you experienced any changes after participating in this project?
I became interested in the nursing profession and thought, "I could do it too."I had that thought.
I thought concretely about my future dream, and took time to plan what I should do going forward.I had.
Q. Is there anything you would like to say in closing?
I am grateful to the mission coordinator and the person who frequently emailed me.
Thanks to them, during my gap year,I was able to spend it meaningfully instead of wasting it.that which wasIt seems.
Thank you for proactively responding and contacting local agencies whenever problems arose.
