#Gained confidence and became a more attractive person #Countless emotions and precious connections #A regret-free gap year

After deciding I wanted to reflect on myself, I quit my job,

completed a gap year project in the Philippines and Cambodia, and returned.

This is the story a participant shared after participating :)

    Q. How much have you changed through the gap year project?

    A. 10 out of 10

When I was in Korea, I was able to feel many emotions I had never experienced before. Not only that, I gained the most precious things that money can''t buy.And by going through many things in a short time, my confidence in myself grew, soI don''t regret going on the gap year!

    Q. You''ve experienced many things — who would you recommend this project to?

There is a lot of time to focus on myself, soI would recommend it to people who still don''t know who they are and are not close to themselves.I''d like to recommend it. Andto those who want to enjoy unforgettable experiencesand go on a special tripI strongly recommend it to those who want to go on a special trip and to those who want to form connections with people they would never meet in Korea..

    Q. After participating in the gap year project, what changes did you notice in yourself?

Before going on the gap year, I lived struggling to fit myself to the standards that Korean society and my family expected. I valued the overall atmosphere more than my own feelings, worried a lot whether doing something would look strange, and boxed myself in thinking I had to do things that way. But through the gap year I realized I didn''t have to live like thatand that I am a person who is attractive enough.

I tried to deal with a series of unfortunate events on my own (being sick, getting pickpocketed... incidents, and the stress from being close to Koreans in the Philippines), and by receiving help from people around me, I realized more than I expectedthat I am a strong person and someone worthy of being loved.I felt that! As my self-satisfaction increased, dreaming of a new life and taking on challengesno longer feels unrealistic and seems like something I can achieve,I think, and it feels within reach.

    Q. What did you like most about participating in the gap year project?

I liked that there are so many unexpected and diverse programs. I think many people want to take a gap year but don''t know where or what to do, so they can''t. Even the Cambodian volunteer work I went to is something that ordinary people would find difficult to get information about unless they are involved.

ThatThey introduce and recommend programs to gappers tailored to each individual''s preferences.I liked this.

And I liked that I felt continuously cared for throughout my gap year.

    Q. Do you have any final comments?

I was often sick starting in the Philippines and complained a lot while trying to adapt, but you accepted all of that and cheered me on—thank you! Especially during the volunteer program in Cambodia, there was the bag-snatching incident ㅠㅠ which caused problems with contacting people, but you handled that sincerely and I''m grateful. Although I returned much earlier than I expected, I appreciate the care and hard work of the gap year staff.
