Suyeon Byeon (44, a non–art major who participated in a gap year after retiring)

This is a video testimonial from her after she quit her job, learned to paint in Florence, and returned.

I joined when my spirit was becoming withered from working life.

Through this project I was able to learn for the first time what it means to love myself :)

When I was a college student, my biggest dream was ''I want to work for a company,''

and the irony is that once you become an office worker, your biggest dream becomes ''I don''t want to go to work.''

Ms. Byeon, too, began to lose herself while working,

but by participating in a painting project in Italy, she

found herself again! The story of her now-so-bright expression

Open to anyone, even those who didn''t major in art,
