[Working Professionals Gap Year] 1-DAY Energy Workshop for Office Workers — Gap Year Review

나답게, 단단하게, 즐겁게

It was nice to take the time to write about our energy cycle—when something gives us strength and when it drains us—and to think about how to turn lethargic energy into positive energy.

    Currently in South Korea,

60,000 middle and high school students drop out each year, 346,000 people in their 20s are just idling because they have no dreams, and the job turnover rate within one year of employment has entered the 40% range,75% of university students are not satisfied with college life, and more than 80% of workers say they do not feel happy. Many people tell them to dream, but to solve this problem that lacks practical methods and support, we aim to bring the ''gap year'' to South Korea.

''Gap year''is a time to either combine or temporarily pause study and work, and through various activities such as volunteering, travel, internships, education, or starting a business,it is a period to set the direction for the future; this culture is recommended in the U.S., Europe, Japan, and other places.

A time when I could convert lethargic energy into positive energy

In my third year of working, I had gotten the job with difficulty, but I was exhausted from merely getting through each day.I wanted to quit and challenge myself with something new, but when I actually tried, fear came first and I found that I wasn''t bold. Then an acquaintance introduced me to an energy workshop and program.

Through the workshop, I had a valuable time sharing concerns with people from various professions, and I was glad to have time to reflect on myself again. As we go through each day, when things give us strength and when they drain us—about our own energy cycle,it was nice to have time to write it down and think about how to turn lethargic energy into positive energy.

I recommend it to those who want to meet people with the same concerns :)

It wasn''t difficult at all and it was fun!
