    # My daily life during the Vietnam project

There''s something called ''egg coffee'' sold at Hoan Kiem Lake.

I''m not sure if it''s available in Korea, but it''s one of Vietnam''s unique coffees.

You might think it''s a typical water puppet show,
Seeing it in Vietnam was an opportunity to experience Vietnam''s unique culture.

In Korea, the GOLD CLASS ticket is said to cost around 30,000 won.
However, I heard that in Vietnam you can see it for almost half the price, so I went to check it out,
It seems worthwhile to see it at least once.

I saw online that VP Bank had no fees,
but when I tried it in person it kept showing that it didn''t work.
So it''s actually more efficient to bring a Shinhan Card or Citibank card.

Vietnam really has a tipping culture. When you go for a massage, it''s good to leave a tip.
When giving a tip in Vietnamese currency, people give around 20,000–50,000 VND.

In my opinion, Hoan Kiem Lake and West Lake look better at night.
And at Hoan Kiem Lake they close traffic on weekends, making it easier to walk around.

Those are traditional Vietnamese hats and bags.
However, they''re not used much these days and are usually worn in the countryside.
When I went to the countryside on a tour, I also saw that they were commonly used there.

On an independent trip to Ninh Binh with my roommates,
it''s one of the destinations where you can hike, and the air is good.

And you go up there by stairs, so if you''re going to Ninh Binh,
it''s better to wear comfortable clothing.
Because Vietnam itself has many places for hiking.

Because there are an enormous number of motorbikes in Vietnam,
and the air isn''t good, so I recommend bringing a mask.

This is the second Vietnamese coffee I tried.
That coffee is called coconut coffee.

It has a bit of a slush-like texture, and when you drink the coffee...
It has a coconut flavor and is really delicious.
They recommend eating it twice, not just once.

    # My gap year tip

    (Language)
This project has many Westerners. If you''re going to Hanoi here, I hope people who can manage some conversational English will go.

    (Accommodation)
At first, when I saw the photos I wondered if I could really adapt and live there, but when I actually went...They cleaned every day, the facilities were much better than in the photos, and it was clean. It was very clean. Also, you didn''t have to buy toilet paper; it was provided for everyone to use.

    (Meals)
Regarding meals, I usually couldn''t eat foods with spices,They sometimes didn''t add spices to the food served in the dormitory, and since it was buffet-style, you could take as much of the food you wanted, which was nice. Also, if you couldn''t eat at the accommodation, if you marked ''S'' on the paper posted at the restaurant, they would pack a meal separately for you.

    (Other)
The washing machine in the accommodation wasn''t very good, so I went out and used a laundry shop.

    My gap year was
