Many thanks to the lovely people at Korea Gap Year for making my dream of an internship in Korea come true! They quickly matched me with a company that was a great fit. I learned so much about Korean culture from my colleagues, and I spent the weekends exploring Seoul and traveling with my new-found friends. What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?
Everyone at the office was so welcoming and passionate about learning languages! So they started teaching me useful Korean expressions each day, and in return I taught them some German phrases. I remember coming home from work and surprising my Korean roommate with all the new words I learned.
