Even while talking, it was so amazing and fun to be sitting and easily chatting with people from countries I had never even been to. Although the cleaning work I did there was hard, since room and board were free I thought it was only natural to do it, so it was fine. Also, sometimes as a tourist rather than staff I was able to visit Busan''s sights and find great restaurants, which made for many good experiences — it was a great opportunity.

Busan — I want to live there. A passionate second city.

International student A friend''s on recommendation for the first time learned about gap year.

searching even if I tried exactly precisely what it is that does not come up . expectation half worry and half applied to ended up.military going 2months ago very I was cautious, but of a gap year various advantages among to apply my mind to firm up became the thing was exactly various experiences are possible pointwas. just famous tourist city to go and while working accommodation and meals to take care of the area touring to that not limited and not because it''s a guesthouse possible various countries with people exchanges, this through the country''s culture, language and other acquisitions and society directly facing experience etc. these kinds of things me captivated ..

searched results domestically Jeju Island and Busan etc. many tourist cities but there were one time been to hadn''t to Busan decided. final acceptance news upon hearing to Busan going before a few days for conversation practice practiced. foreigners directly dealing with is an activity since first of all more naturally speech must be understood should be I thought because.somewhat a foreign language they say they can but foreigners directly deal with opportunities almost didn''t have because if directly foreigners I were to deal with honey eaten as if mute any words couldn''t thing seemed because.

So in my own way preparations and brimming expectations holding to Busan arrived. As soon as I arrived the guesthouse''s staff and the manager welcomed. Everyone kindly going forward to do work about told me the so-called gap year thing about 다시 알려주었다againI alone one month-long doing thing not with me same age a girl too together because we did somewhat to adapt quickly to do can was able. one day two days While Singapore, France, Taiwan etc. really diverse countries'' people met and talked.. Even while having conversations , I haven''t even been to countries with people like this sitting without difficulty talking and am right now so It was fascinating and it was fun. Although there that I did the cleaning work was hard but, lodging and meals were free for this for of course have to be done I thought after thinking that it was okay. And sometimes as a staff member not as a tourist Busan''s attractions wandered around famous restaurants while searching for good experiences many to have can so it was a good opportunity.

military service going before, by chance found out and became ending up that a gap year. abroad already active they say I heard. personally directly From my experience, the advantages seem to be more than justone or two.Later, if I have the opportunity, I would definitely like to try it one more time and recommend it to acquaintances.

My personal advice for future volunteers as participants regarding the accommodation

Since the guesthouse is shared with other people, you’ll talk a lot with those staying there, and because there is only one bathroom you’ll need to accept that inconvenience.

My personal advice for future volunteers as participants regarding the meals

The cleaning lady seems to have experience working in the dining area, so she cooks very tasty meals. The food is a bit sweet, and since I like spicy food it did get a little tiring after eating it for a while, but it’s still better than ordinary restaurant food.

Through the gap-year camp program I participated in: good points·Things that moved me, what I learned, realizations, etc.

Improved foreign language skills; visiting tourist attractions

Were there any people you met or spent time with while participating in the gap year program?

Three older guys in Singapore, 프
