Recharging warm love with children in Hanoi, Vietnam

    Q. Please tell us your satisfaction with the project. If you are satisfied, what did you like?

    A. Iin this projectwas very satisfied.

Before going, I wondered if three months would be too long, would I be okay living in the accommodation, what if I can''t make friends, etc.I was very worried and a little scared.

But after finishing the projectnow I really think I made the right choice to come here!

The three months also felt like they passed quickly...Everyone was kind and did their best to help, so I always felt warm at heart.

The accommodation required some adjustment, but because I traveled around Vietnam and hung out with friends, it wasn''t very stressful!

This program was stress-free, enriched my heart, and allowed me to meet many precious people.

I was happy to be able to rest, play, and volunteer for three months and make many memories haha

    Q. Would you recommend this project?

    A. I would recommend it to those who want to get away from Korea, not worry about others'' opinions, and enjoy themselves abundantly in a place with low living costs,

and to people who want to volunteer and make foreign friends.

If you want your life to have a story, want to make memories you can recall over and over when times are hard, want to rest deeply,

if your current life feels boring and you don''t know what you''re doing, but being too adventurous is still scary, then I think this program might be suitable for you!

    Q. After participating in this project, have there been any changes in me?

    A. Just the fact that I challenged myself to take on this project made me feel proud of myself,

and during the three months I thought, ''Oh? I''m better than I thought?''my belief in myself has grown a bit.

I worried a lot before coming, but because I made a lot of effort to adapt well in Vietnam and to enjoy it as much as possible,

I made many friends, traveled to various places in Vietnam, and tried things I hadn''t done before,

so I feel I was able to spend my gap year meaningfully.

And I felt even more that the world is vast and there are many diverse people.

I realized I didn''t have to worry about other people''s opinions, even about minor things I did.—thatI had that thought too, haha.

    Q. Do you have any final words you''d like to say?

    A. During my gap year, I could feel that Korean Gap Year took great care of the participants.

Also, before I went, I received detailed guidance on what I needed to prepare, and they kindly answered my questions, which I appreciated!

I learned about gap years through Korean Gap Year, and I gained valuable, memorable experiences — I''m grateful to Korean Gap Year!

They checked in on me during the trip and sent lots of great missions, so as a participant I felt very supported.

Thanks to everyone working at Korean Gap Year,

I was able to spend my gap year feeling reassured and happy. Thank you, haha.
