Through the Gap Year mission,This is a ''Thank You, Gap Year'' update from a participant who spent their gap year in Cambodia. :)“
Dear coordinator :)
I read the email you sent and was moved to tears.
The words that the situation then and now are different — they feel very comforting.
I think that''s exactly what I need right now.
I often found it easier to blame myself than to blame others or the situation,
and because that allowed me to stay more positive than blaming others, I tended to
push myself to change and improve rather than praise myself — it became a habit.
I think so. As a result, I felt I had to do well on my own.
I became exhausted and quit, but when trying to return, my past behaviors...
The hardships at work and the fear of tiring relationships were so
overwhelming ㅠ But hearing that the situation then and now are different has been comforting since this morning.
It''s been a comfort and strength to the point of tears.
I''ll reflect on your advice and try to take better care of myself. ㅠㅠ *sob* ㅠㅠ tears again ㅠㅠ
Have a nice day~! ^^
