PROJECT INTRODUCTION
This project involves volunteering as a teacher for children in Goa, India. Become a teacher for children who, due to their family's financial situation, cannot receive sufficient education and start working from a young age. By allowing these children to learn and grow freely, their world will expand and lay the foundation for sustainable development.
The pure-hearted children of Goa, India, find joy and happiness in the smallest moments of daily life. Seeing them smile and enjoy their time with you during classes and playtime will bring new joy into your life as well.

Children growing up in impoverished environments in Goa lack educational opportunities. Many children who should be learning are instead working. Without proper education, these children continue to struggle in poverty and miss out on opportunities for a better future.
Simple games, play, dance, songs, and basic English can be of great help to these children. Teaching them is one of the easiest ways to open new paths in their lives. Moreover, it can also improve the lives of their families. Help these children dream of a broader world!

PROJECT ACTIVITIES
Participants in this project will work at a youth shelter in Goa, India.
The shelter houses children and adolescents aged 5 to 20. Participants will teach English through various activities such as sports, drawing, dance, and singing. Additionally, participants may assist shelter staff with cleaning and organizing. Typically, participants will engage in around 5 to 5.5 hours of activities, with a 30-minute lunch break.

ACCOMMODATION INTRODUCTION

You will be living in a dormitory-style accommodation with volunteers from around the world. The accommodation includes an en-suite bathroom, and each room is equipped with a fan. Basic bedding is provided, but you will need to bring your own towels. Wi-Fi is available in the common areas.
Meals are provided during your stay, with three meals a day on weekdays and two meals a day (brunch & dinner) on weekends. The meals are primarily vegetarian-friendly, with occasional non-vegetarian options. Additionally, water, coffee, tea, and other beverages are available at the accommodation.
Laundry facilities are available for an additional fee.

Goa is a coastal city in western India that still bears the traces of 450 years of Portuguese colonial history, offering a slightly different atmosphere from what one might typically imagine of India. Every year, numerous foreign tourists visit Goa’s beaches to enjoy their vacations. With a variety of fresh and affordable foods, vibrant night markets, bustling clubs, and various festivals, you can fully enjoy the many charms of Goa!
ㅣ Recommended Travel Destinations
01 Anjuna Beach
A famous beach in Goa, Anjuna Beach offers soft sands, clear waters, delicious food, and various water sports. While it's great to have fun in the water, simply sitting and gazing at the sea can be enough for a relaxing healing experience. Don't forget to visit the Anjuna Flea Market held every Wednesday near the beach to purchase various items and souvenirs.
02 Basilica of Bom Jesus
One of the Roman Catholic churches built during the Portuguese colonial period, the Basilica of Bom Jesus boasts over 500 years of history and is an incredibly beautiful church. Goa was once nicknamed the 'Rome of the East,' and you can still find traces of Catholicism throughout the city. The Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier, which have remained uncorrupted for hundreds of years. Witness this miraculous piece of history for yourself!
03 Hot Air Balloon Ride
Enjoy various activities in Goa, such as paragliding, scuba diving, and more. One of the activities you can try is a hot air balloon ride. If you have difficulty paying the full amount, you can make a down payment of 500,000 KRW and pay the balance within two weeks. The process for project confirmation will begin once the down payment is made, and availability for your desired dates and period will be checked. Early registration is important to secure your spot! (Non-refundable upon confirmation)
* For urgent start dates, the balance payment schedule may vary.
■ Early Bird Discount and Emergency Application Information
We recommend applying at least 3 months before the project start date to ensure proper processing and preparation. However, if necessary, you can use the emergency application service for an additional fee to expedite the process.
* Although we strive to expedite the process, communication with local institutions and time required for confirmation are necessary. All procedures are the same as for regular participants, so your cooperation is essential when using the emergency application service.
** Those who apply 180 days before the start date are eligible for an early bird discount.
