PROGRAM INTRODUCTION

Project Introduction

The participant speaks for themselves! Review interview video

A project involving foreign students participating in courses at a prestigious university in Thailand.

This project allows foreign students to participate in courses offered by a prestigious university in Thailand, focusing on subjects related to Thailand such as Thai language, history, arts, and culture. All classes are conducted in English, providing an environment where students can deeply explore Thailand while interacting with classmates who also use English. It offers an opportunity to study Thailand in depth without stringent eligibility requirements, similar to an exchange student program, and experience the romanticism of campus life in Thailand with international friends.

Interaction with students dispatched from universities in Europe and the Americas

Mostly, this environment allows interaction with students dispatched from universities in Europe and the Americas who are studying about Thailand. It provides an opportunity to mingle with English-speaking foreigners from diverse backgrounds. Particularly appealing to those who missed out on the benefits of an exchange student program during their university years, this project offers new experiences and directions. It allows participants to experience exchange student life and culture, especially with foreign students keen on Asia. Moreover, for those interested in studying Thailand or Southeast Asia, the curriculum focuses on experiential and practical learning rather than theory. During one semester or two, the classes focus more on experiential learning and practical applications rather than theory-based instruction.

You can enjoy a vibrant campus life in Bangkok by visiting local attractions, going out to nearby areas, planning performances, learning cooking, and engaging in various classes. During your free time outside of classes, you can explore multiple cities in Thailand, known for tourism, or even travel to other countries in Southeast Asia, creating your own unique visiting student experience.

In this project, accommodation is not included in the project cost. Participants can obtain information about housing during the local orientation and seek assistance from university staff to find accommodation in areas near the school. Accommodations typically involve shared housing arrangements like a sharehouse with other international friends, although participants may also choose to arrange personal accommodations based on their preferences. As for meals, participants typically handle them individually by either cooking together with housemates using purchased ingredients or opting for simple dining out, according to personal preferences.
