We are an institution that has long worked to provide educational programs designed to enrich individuals' lives through language study and to awaken students' potential. Founded in 1938, we boast over 80 years of history and tradition and offer an optimal environment for students.
The school, located in downtown Los Angeles between Hollywood and Santa Monica Beach, is also near shopping districts where you can enjoy a vibrant cultural scene. You can study alongside friends from various countries and enjoy each day.

01 Hollywood Walk of Fame
The Hollywood Walk of Fame, which honors celebrities who contributed to the development of the entertainment industry by embedding their names on star-shaped plaques, contains the names of about 2,600 individuals. Not only will you find world-famous real-life celebrities whose names you instantly recognize, but fictional characters like Mickey Mouse and Snoopy, and even Disneyland, have received stars on the Walk of Fame. Stroll the street, find names you know, and take a photo to commemorate it — it will become one of your most quintessential Los Angeles memories.

A famous attraction visited by countless tourists every year, Universal Studios offers Hollywood film production studios as well as a variety of theme parks. 03 Santa Monica
Santa Monica Pier is a popular destination for family travelers because it combines a beautiful beach with a family-friendly amusement park. The amusement park, established in the early 1900s, features a historic carousel that has been operating since the 1930s. After enjoying the park, you can take a walk or ride a bike along the coastline that stretches along the vast Pacific — enjoy Santa Monica to the fullest.

If you cannot pay in full, you may prepay a registration fee of 500,000 KRW and pay the remaining balance within two weeks. Based on the date the registration fee is received, we will process participant confirmation and check availability and open slots. Quickly securing your spot is important to participate on your desired date and period! (Non-refundable once participation is confirmed)
*However, if the start date is approaching, the schedule for the remaining payment may vary depending on the situation.
■Early Bird Discount and Urgent Application Information
All Gap Year projects require normal application procedures and a Gap Year preparation period, so projectsare recommended to be applied for at least 3 months before the start date.and,As a rule, applications should be submitted no later than 2 months prior.However, if there are unavoidable reasons or you urgently need to join a project, you can pay an additional fee for the urgent application service and we will assist with expedited processing as much as possible.
*We assist with the fastest possible processing, but there is a basic amount of time required for communication with local organizations and confirmation of participation, and because all procedures are conducted the same as for regular participants, those using the urgent application service must actively cooperate with the Korea Gap Year operations team.
**Participants who apply at least 180 days before the start date are eligible for an early bird discount.
