Foreign students can live with a local family in the country where they are staying and learn the country's culture and language. Living with the family allows them to improve their language skills through communication and to understand the lifestyle, values, and cultural practices of the local people.
2. Guesthouse
A guesthouse is an accommodation where the kitchen, bathroom, and showers are shared. Rooms may be assigned as 4-person rooms or 6- to 8-person rooms, with several people sharing a single room. When traveling briefly to another country, travelers often stay in guesthouses and exchange stories and travel information with various other travelers during short encounters.
3. Apartment share
An apartment share is a type of accommodation where international students rent a house together—usually about 5–6 people—and live communally. Depending on the condition of the house, you may choose a private room or share a room with one roommate. Unlike a homestay, it is not a family setting; housework such as meals, cleaning, and laundry is shared among the housemates.
