    Surfing: the number-one must-experience activity when you go to Australia!Australia is the host of the world’s top surfing competition, the Rip Curl Pro, and is ranked as a place surfers around the world want to surf at least once.Along the Great Ocean Road there are many beaches with ideal wave conditions for surfing, such as Bells Beach, known as a surfing paradise. This is a program where you can learn and enjoy surfing here while also traveling the Great Ocean Road.

    You can truly feel the waves and enjoy surfing on the beaches of southern Australia, where surfers from around the world gather.Among many globally popular surfing spots—Surfrider Beach in the USA, La Gravière in France, Jardin in Morocco, Ama Beach in Japan, Bali in Indonesia, Siargao Island in the Philippines, and Arugam Bay in Sri Lanka—Australia is a place you cannot leave out. Thanks to its mild year-round climate and long coastline, Australia is always full of people who come to surf, and you can see people of all ages naturally enjoying surfing as if it were a national sport. Because surfing culture is older there than in Korea, you can learn surfing more professionally, and even beginners can build solid fundamentals.     Program Activities


    Activity Details

    - During the 10-day program, you will 4 hours of surfing training per day for 8 dayswill participate.

    - For those new to surfing, we help you gradually get familiar with surfing through lessons in shallow water, paddling, standing on the surfboard, balancing, and learning how to read good waves. You can progressively challenge higher, more thrilling waves and refine your surfing skills. Imagine yourself riding the waves smoothly and stylishly without anyone's help!

    * On days with classes after the first day, meet at the local facility near the accommodation at 9:30 AM.

    Tour activities

    - On the last day,Great Ocean Road tour (1 day) is includedWhy not experience the beauty of the Great Ocean, which stretches over 240 km, together with other surfers? The Great Ocean Road is not accessible without a car. Don't miss the chance to enjoy both surfing and the Great Ocean tour! During the tour you can view the Twelve Apostles, a landmark of Australia's Great Ocean tour.

    * The 10-day itinerary includes one 'rest day.' Enjoy the privilege of doing nothing and relaxing in the beautiful, quiet towns along Australia's southern coast. You can take a leisurely trek along the Great Ocean Road or spend the whole day watching the sea and having your own time—either will be a special memory.

    Other activities

    In summer, participants can spend time as they wish—exploring the town, learning to cook Australian dishes, or watching kangaroos. In the afternoon, enjoy shopping at Surf City Mall and visit the Surf Museum (SurfWorld Surf Museum) at a discounted admission.

    English proficiency required

    This class mainly involves physical activities, so basic English skills sufficient for simple communication and understanding the lessons are enough to participate in the project.

    Accommodation

    Participants will be at Australia's most famous surfing destinationBells BeachThey will stay at accommodation in the nearby Torquay area. They will be housed in a location in central Torquay that has been specially arranged for surf training participants.It is a guesthouse-style accommodation (8-person room) where up to 8 people can stay together.Bed linens and shower towels, breakfast, tea, and coffee are provided. In the evenings, it is an ideal place to enjoy a BBQ at nearby bars or on the beach, or to take in the beautiful coastline.
