This is a special project that goes beyond simply learning to brew at a brewery in Gangjin — you'll plan and personally make a liquor that carries your own story, and build it into a brand. In short, this is a project where you can create a liquor under your own name, and sell and collaborate under a brand you create yourself. You'll learn both the deep value of traditional Korean liquor and modern brewing techniques, experiencing every stage of how liquor comes to life — from selecting ingredients to brewing, branding, and sales. Infuse your own philosophy and sensibility into your liquor to complete a one-of-a-kind creation, and experience the special moment of sharing it with others.
1. The Aesthetics Time Creates, A One-of-a-Kind Liquor That’s Truly Your own
Many people enjoy drinking, but the experience of making a liquor that carries your own name is rare. In this project, you'll face the special experience of personally planning and brewing liquors you already love — from makgeolli to cheongju to highballs. Every moment of choosing ingredients to achieve the flavor and aroma you want, and thinking about whose glass this liquor should end up in, comes together to complete a work that exists nowhere else in the world. The true charm of brewing lies in the time of 'fermentation,' where even the waiting itself becomes meaningful. As you feel and manage, with your own hands, the invisible, minute changes as the liquor slowly matures, it becomes more than a simple beverage — it becomes a living story built up over time. Stay within that quiet, deep process of immersion, and before you know it, you'll naturally sink into the analog joy that brewing offers.
2. From Imagination to Market, Launching Your Own Liquor Brand
Just as important as brewing good liquor is defining a brand that will stay in people's minds for a long time. This project doesn't stop at the manufacturing process. You'll personally direct the entire process — setting the liquor's persona, designing a unique brand story, and even creating the label and package design that visually proves it. Beyond that, you'll work through the real-world processes of distribution and sales: how to introduce your finished liquor to the world, and through which channels to get it into customers' hands. Through this process, you'll naturally pick up a broad business sense spanning planning, marketing, and actual sales. This goes beyond a one-time experience — it's about building a creator's perspective on the market and a portfolio of your own. 3. Stepping Into the Daily Life of a Brewery: The Complete World of Brewing
Far more delicate steps than you'd imagine are required before a single bottle of liquor finally reaches the world. Intense care goes into every stage — from the first step of selecting and preparing good grain, to carefully recording temperature and time every day so fermentation proceeds steadily, to the quality control of continuously observing subtle changes in flavor and aroma inside the aging room. This is a time to work alongside a professional brewer inside the brewery and learn the entire process of how liquor is completed, in its raw, unfiltered form. Beyond simply listening to theory, you'll wash rice with your own hands, monitor the 'breathing' of the yeast, and come to deeply understand the full life cycle of the liquor. Step deep into the intimate daily life of the brewery — a boundary not easily crossed under normal circumstances — and make the craftsman's senses and the weight of the work fully your own.

■ Project Activities
This is a hands-on brewing project where you make traditional Korean liquor and highballs based on your own ideas, and plan your own liquor brand. You'll experience the actual work of a brewery firsthand, going through every stage of how liquor is made — from preparing the grain to fermentation, aging, and completion. You'll also plan your own brand concept and story, and develop label and package ideas to match, completing a brand of your own. This will be more than just a process of making and planning liquor — it will become a new, special memory that stays with you for a long time.
■ Main Activities
1. Education on Traditional Liquor and Highball Brewing Theory
You'll learn the characteristics and production principles of various types of liquor, including makgeolli, cheongju, and highballs. You'll understand the principles of fermentation and aging, and learn what process each liquor goes through to be made.
2. Understanding Raw Materials and Brewing Theory
You'll learn the characteristics of the main raw materials used to make liquor — rice, nuruk (fermentation starter), yeast, and more — and take part in the actual brewing process. You'll practice the entire liquor-making process while experiencing the actual work of a brewer.
3. Developing Your Own Liquor Recipe
You'll plan your own product concept, thinking through what flavor and aroma you want your liquor to have. You'll understand the raw materials and manufacturing methods, and experience the process of making a liquor filled with your own individuality.
4. Brand Planning and Story Development
You'll plan your own liquor brand by setting the brand name, product concept, brand story, target customers, and more. You'll learn the process of building a brand that people will remember — not just liquor.
5. Package and Sales Strategy Planning
You'll develop label designs and package ideas, and think through how to introduce and sell the product to consumers. By planning a product that can compete in the actual market, you'll build your sense of branding and marketing.
6. Consumer Response and Market Understanding
Based on your completed product concept, you may check consumer response or experience a sales-testing process. You'll broaden your perspective beyond just the liquor-making process to understanding the market and customers.

This is a professional brewery located in Gangjin that develops and produces a variety of liquors based on local agricultural products and the region's history and culture. It's not just a place that manufactures liquor — it plans new brands and products and runs various projects to promote brewing culture, showcasing not only the production process but also the local stories, people, and culture embedded within it. In particular, it holds broad brewing experience and brand-development capability spanning traditional Korean liquor, highballs, and beer, and offers deeper, more professional education based on real experience running a brewery and providing brand consulting. Here, participants can learn the entire liquor-making process firsthand, fully experience the time and care that go into completing a liquor, and further, plan their own liquor and brand while experiencing both brewing and branding together.
To help you stay comfortably during the education period, we arrange shared accommodation or guesthouses near the brewery. Basic facilities needed for daily living are provided, so you can stay conveniently.

Away from the busy city, you can live at a relaxed pace, naturally interact with local residents, and experience the region's way of life and deep culture. It’s also a place where celadon culture and tea culture have flourished, offering everyday cultural experiences amid various arts and culture spaces and beautiful natural scenery.
1. Gangjin Bay Ecological Park
This is a well-known destination famous for its wide reed fields and beautiful wetland scenery. You can enjoy nature's changing scenery through the seasons, and take a relaxing walk along the trails. Especially at sunset, the sky turning red leaves visitors with lasting memories.
2. Goryeo Celadon Museum
The Goryeo Celadon Museum is a space where you can explore the thousand-year history and production process of Goryeo celadon. Through various exhibitions and hands-on programs, you can experience the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and naturally understand the meaning of work infused with an artisan spirit. Exhibits and artifacts also let you appreciate the excellence and artistic value of Goryeo celadon on a deeper level.
3. Baekundong Garden
This beautiful garden, representative of traditional Korean garden culture, is notable for its natural blend of valley, forest, and pond. You can take a quiet walk and feel nature up close, experiencing a calm that's hard to find in the busy city. It's a healing space where you can rest your tired body and mind.
