This professional training program offers the opportunity to learn high-quality Korean dog grooming techniques and a wide range of styling methods. Through new skills and hands-on experiences, this program will be a meaningful and rewarding journey of growth.
1. Globally Recognized Korean-Style Dog Grooming Techniques
Korean dog grooming has evolved beyond simple cutting techniques into a specialized field that carefully reflects the unique characteristics and styles of each breed. With a strong focus on precision and efficiency, systematic grooming standards and techniques have been developed for a wide range of breeds. You will learn step by step, starting from basic scissor techniques to breed-specific grooming standards and a variety of styling methods. Through an intensive and well-structured training system, even beginners can quickly build their skills and make noticeable progress within a short period of time.
2. Rapid Growth Through Hands-on Training
One of the key strengths of this program is the opportunity to gain extensive hands-on experience. In Korea, there is a well-developed culture of caring for rescue dogs and participating in grooming volunteer work, which provides valuable opportunities to work directly with a wide range of dogs. You will gain experience with various breeds—from small to large—and learn grooming techniques and styles tailored to each. This practical training helps refine your skills and build the confidence to handle different situations effectively. Learning Korean-style grooming techniques also emphasizes both precision and efficiency, allowing you to work more effectively in professional settings. As a result, you can improve your workflow and potentially increase the number of clients you are able to serve in a day. For example, if you previously groomed around four dogs a day, after completing the training, you may be able to handle up to ten dogs a day.
3. Professional skills for a Global Career and Entrepreneurship
This program goes beyond technical training, helping you develop the skills and perspective needed to succeed in the global market and prepare for your own business. Many professional groomers have trained in Korea and gone on to build successful careers or open their own salons in their home countries. In addition to professional grooming skills, you will also learn how to promote and brand your work through social media, supporting you in building your own unique identity. The experience of training in Korea—known for its fast-paced, trend-driven, and detail-oriented beauty industry—will not only enhance your technical abilities but also provide valuable insight for your future career and entrepreneurial goals.
4. Why Jeonju? ‘A more comfortable and immersive experience’
This project takes place in Jeonju, a city where authentic Korean traditions and daily life blend naturally. Centered around Jeonju Hanok Village, you can enjoy a relaxed lifestyle in a peaceful atmosphere while experiencing Korean culture in depth. With its relatively affordable cost of living, Jeonju is also an ideal place for international participants to explore, learn, and enjoy a variety of experiences. Compared to Seoul, the city offers a warmer and more laid-back environment, making it easier to connect with people and fully enjoy your training journey. Located just about 1 hour and 50 minutes from Seoul, Jeonju also provides easy access to other cities for weekend trips. Your time here will go beyond a typical training course—it will be an opportunity to truly understand Korea and build meaningful connections with people.
5. Learn Korean while living the experience
A free Korean language program is offered alongside your training course, allowing you to learn the language in a structured and supportive way. Starting from the basics, you will build a strong foundation in Korean and develop your skills by applying what you learn directly in your training course and daily life. Because lessons are closely connected to real-life use, you can improve your Korean more quickly and in a practical way. Learning the language as part of your everyday life will not only help you communicate better, but also give you a deeper understanding of Korean culture.
