This is an old hanok that has served as a real living place where descendants have been born and raised for over 400 years. It is a prestigious traditional house designated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, located in Bonghwa, Gyeongbuk. For over 400 years, eleven generations of descendants have been born and lived here. Opposite the main house are a spacious garden and an annex, and a wood-fired ceramic kiln, a white lotus pond, and garden trees enhance the beauty throughout the four seasons. In the rear garden of the old house, where around 100 species of wildflowers bloom, there is also a folk play area with a swing, a plank used for traditional jumping, a shuttlecock-kicking game, an arrow-tossing game, and spinning tops. Enjoy a leisurely, healing time in this place where nature and art come together.

You will stay in an ondol-style room suitable for up to two guests. The courtyard and garden of the traditional house are serenely visible just outside the door. A simple breakfast made with Bonghwa specialties is provided. Light outside food may be consumed in the room, but cooking activities should be done in the separate communal kitchen. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
