You'll spend leisurely time serving as the bookstore keeper in a shop cultivated by an owner who worked as a Korean language teacher for many years. Participants who wish can also design and run various experiential programs in addition to regular bookstore duties.

This is a mixed cultural space in a mountain village of Bonghwa, Gyeongsangbuk-do, centered around a bookstore and operating a café, women’s clothing shop, pension (guesthouse), campground, and caravans. It was created by the owner, who retired with honors after many years as a Korean language teacher, with the hope that people could become close to books without feeling pressured. The bookstore is filled with books of various genres that can be bought or rented at reasonable prices. The interior of the bookstore has a warm, cozy atmosphere, so when you open a book you can quickly lose track of time and become fully absorbed. Time here does not feel hurried. On days when there are few visitors, you can read to your heart’s content and fall into reflection, or get to know occasional guests by talking about books.

You can stay at the bookseller's lodging next to the bookstore. A private room is provided along with a combined living room and kitchen, and laundry facilities and bathrooms are available as shared spaces.
