    Program Introduction

    Students of Hong Kong Baptist University an industry exploration project that allows them to directly visit and experience various industrial sites in KoreaIt offers opportunities to explore companies and institutions across fields such as ICT, art, beauty, broadcasting, and publishing, allowing students to reflect on their career paths and broaden their global perspectives.

    This project allows participants to directly visit and experience real workplaces across various industries. Students visit a variety of institutions in Korea—such as beauty, ICT, culture, arts, broadcasting, and publishing—to observe actual workplaces, listen to professionals, and learn about the industriesIn this way, experiencing the atmosphere on site leaves a strong impression on students and provides them with the opportunity to try out the careers they have dreamed of.

    This program is balanced so it does not focus on a single industry but allows students to experience a wide range of fields. Based on each student's major and interests, it visits renowned institutions in Korea and around the world, from advanced technology industries such as ICT, artificial intelligence, broadcasting, trade, and publishing to the fields of culture and the arts. For example, a campus tour of the Korea National University of Arts gives students who dream of a career in the arts the chance to experience Korea's curriculum and works submitted by Korean university students. They also visit the SKT headquarters and the T.um experience space to experience a future city shaped by ICT capabilities and technological innovation. In this way Experiencing various industries broadens students' thinking and becomes a valuable criterion when choosing a major or career in the futureIt becomes a valuable benchmark. The diverse program provides insights to each student in different ways. Such cross-disciplinary experiences greatly help develop the integrative thinking and career-planning skills required by modern society.

    This project offers Hong Kong students a special opportunity to develop a global sensibility by experiencing the new cultural and industrial environment of KoreaIt provides opportunities to communicate with members of various companies and institutions, attend international exhibitions, and experience cultural differences, through which students can broaden their understanding of the global market. Such global experience becomes a great asset for students considering international further study or overseas employment. It is a meaningful program that enables students to strengthen both career planning and international competencies.

    Program Activities

    This is a project in which students from Hong Kong Baptist University visit companies across various sectors in Seoul to develop a global perspective and gain experience in diverse industries. It supports students in experiencing a range of fields such as beauty, ICT, arts and culture, startups, and exhibitions.

    Main Activities

    - Company visits: Visit industry organizations in Seoul that have global reach, including ICT, beauty, and arts and culture.

    - Meetings with CEOs: Q&A sessions with company representatives and CEOs to gain an in-depth understanding of the industries.

    - University visits: Campus tours of well-known universities in Seoul to understand Korean university life and academic curricula.

    - Exhibition and fair visits: On-site visits to places like COEX and exhibition venues to gain a broad understanding of related industries.

    - Korean cultural experiences: Activities such as trying on hanbok at palaces, visiting Han River parks, and exploring Seongsu-dong to enhance understanding of Korean culture.

    Additional Information

    • On the first day, upon arrival at the accommodation, a brief introduction and orientation about the overall schedule will be provided. For basic questions, please refer to the pre-arrival materials.
    • The Korean cultural experience is optional. Depending on participants' condition or preference, they may return to the accommodation.
    • Interpretation services will be provided during all institutional visits for easy and accurate understanding.
    • An English-speaking guide will accompany the group throughout the entire itinerary.
    • After the schedule ends, please refrain from going out alone; if necessary, go accompanied by someone you trust.
    • Since there may be visits to office spaces, please avoid wearing clothing that is too short or overly revealing.
