In the areas where the project takes place, there are children who live apart from their parents and suffer emotional and attachment difficulties. Lacking people to care for and teach them, the children experience many challenges in daily life. The organization running the project provides various educational programs and activities for children at local foster care facilities together with volunteer teachers from around the world.Children spend time with volunteer teachers and learn healthy lifestyles, academic skills, and social competencies.. Through these activities, children gain essential experiences and knowledge for life and develop independence and self-confidence. Please join us so that children can grow up bright and healthy despite difficult circumstances.

The project operates in groups with a variety of young teachers from around the world. Volunteer teachers plan and prepare fun and beneficial activities for the children, such as games, sports, and storytelling from their countries. While preparing lessons and sharing childhood play activities with volunteer teachers from different nations, participants can understand each other's cultures and build closeness and bonds.Directly communicating and teaching children and teachers from various countries develops a global perspective and greatly helps build expertise in education and child care.. This experience can later be applied in various fields such as education, psychology, and social welfare, and will be an important asset in expanding future career opportunities. In addition, multicultural teamwork experience can be especially advantageous for those preparing for a global career.

Many volunteers say this."I went to teach the children, but I learned more myself."This project goes beyond simply teaching children, it is a time for personal growth and discoveryIt is a time for personal growth and discovery. While preparing lessons, your creativity and problem-solving skills will naturally improve, and thinking through various activities and teaching methods will broaden your perspective. Grow

I see positive changes in the children’s learning attitudes and behaviors, and I feel that I’m making an impact. They develop the habit of planning and regulating their activities on their own, learning and growing in a self-directed way. The question “What can I give and learn here?” arises naturally, and my perspective on life broadens. I naturally learn to observe the problems the children face and, together with local staff, find practical solutions. By experiencing the real challenges and problem-solving processes of local NGOs, I gain the ability to think systemically. I come to understand Romania’s history and society more deeply in the context of its culture. I naturally feel a sense of responsibility and the joy of being immersed even in the children’s small changes. My steady affection for the children develops into a deeper, more mature love. I gain confidence that “I can do it too,” and my self-esteem naturally increases. I develop the perseverance and ability to act required to do my best in a given situation and find realistic solutions. I become better at viewing my emotions objectively and managing stress. I naturally develop the habit of seriously considering the role I can play to support sustainable volunteering.
