    Program Introduction

This project takes place in an area that preserves beautiful nature and the charm of the medieval era.An educational volunteer activity where you stay in a picturesque environment and become an after-school special teacher for children from disadvantaged families. It involves planning various activities such as singing, sports, and games with volunteer teachers from around the world and turning them into lessons. While spending joyful time with disadvantaged children, you help them grow so they can move toward a greater future. Plan and enjoy a variety of classes and have a personally rewarding time. As the children grow, you too will grow.

In Europe, due to soaring food prices and inflation, approximately 20 million children are at risk of poverty and social exclusion. In particular, Romania is the country in Europe with the most severe youth poverty.Children are not receiving financial support, basic learning assistance, or care. Children who do not receive enough attention have low academic achievement and lack self-esteem, making it difficult for them to do even small things on their own without someone’s help. To address these problems, the organization invites volunteer teachers from around the world to provide various after-school classes.Children spend enjoyable time with teachers, learn how to accomplish things on their own, and discover a larger world.Become an after-school teacher and be with the children so they do not give up learning because of the circumstances they were born into.

A special time spent with warm-hearted volunteers gathered from around the worldSpend it. This place is filled with bright, cheerful children, considerate local staff, and passionate international volunteers. Everyone shares the same goals, and within a community connected by love and positivity you can feel a warm sense of bonding. It's not a place to simply pass the time doing educational volunteering; you plan creative educational programs for the children and create enjoyable classes through various activities like crafts and drawing. Through those classes, the children's radiant smiles are both the reward for excellent lessons and they heal my heart and provide warm comfort. From that perspective, the time here is not volunteering, but...a time to enjoy pleasant moments with people, plan education to give as a gift to someone, reflect on myself, and growIt will be such a time. Collaborate with colleagues who are full of consideration and positive energy, learn new perspectives, and take the first step toward a global career. In this place filled with love, create your own path of joy, learning, and growth. Build a globally recognized career anywhere in the world through enjoyable and meaningful experiences. And discover yourself growing into a warm-hearted person.

Start your own special journey in Eastern Europe, a place many have not yet ventured to.This place blends picturesque nature with the old-world atmosphere of the medieval eraIt is filled with peaceful and awe-inspiring moments. The project site, called the 'Jewel of Eastern Europe,' evokes admiration with endless plains, clear rivers, and beautiful castles standing tall in the mountains. Use weekends and holidays to explore nearby areas and spend a relaxed, leisurely time. Heal in the green nature and enjoy true tranquility away from city noise. Also, this place...has a low cost of living, allowing you to explore neighboring European countries without financial burden after completing the projectYou can. Travel to countries that once seemed distant and unfamiliar—Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia—and discover another hidden charm of Europe. Eastern Europe's unique cultures and landscapes will open new perspectives and offer richer experiences. Follow paths many people pass by or don't know, and create a story that is uniquely yours. The courage and excitement to leave the familiar and leap into the new will lead you to a wider world. Enjoy the charms of Eastern Europe and experience a special time discovering your own path.

Many volunteers say this:"I set out to teach the children, but I learned more myself."This project goes beyond simply teaching children,a time of growth and discovery for oneselfIt is. While preparing lessons, creativity and problem-solving skills will naturally improve, and the process of considering various activities and teaching methods will broaden your thinking. The communication skills and leadership gained from conducting classes will become powerful assets in everything you lead, and the experience of communicating and guiding at the children's level will greatly enhance your empathy and leadership abilities. Learn and play with the children and experience your possibilities and hidden talents shining one by one.I grow together with the childrenThis is a program.

    Location Overview

    Region:Romania

Romania is an attractive country located in Southeastern Europe, boasting fairytale-like natural beauty and a rich cultural heritage. Immerse yourself in the charm of medieval Europe in Romania — from Brasov and Cluj, which exude a strong medieval atmosphere, to the vast plains through which the Danube flows, and Transylvania, the legendary home of Dracula!

    ■ Recommended Destinations

    1. Palace of the Parliament
This iconic building was left by Romania’s leader Nicolae Ceaușescu. After the 1989 Romanian Revolution it was converted into the Palace of the Parliament, but Romanians still commonly call it the People’s Palace. Ceaușescu, who visited North Korea in 1971, modeled the building on the North Korean leader’s palace. Today it houses the Romanian Parliament and serves as an international conference center. Built originally to serve as Ceaușescu’s offices and residence, it is the second-largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon in the United States.

    2. Bran Castle
When people think of Romania, many first imagine “Dracula.” Bran Castle is the place where Vlad III, who served as the model for Bram Stoker’s novel "Dracula," stayed. Set against rugged mountains, it is a romantically atmospheric site that sparks travelers’ imaginations.

    3. Turda Salt Mine
A wondrous world hidden underground, the Turda Salt Mine is a rare Romanian attraction boasting 2,000 years of history. Located 120 meters below ground, it was used as a salt mine since medieval times and, after World War II, served as a cheese storage facility and shelter. Today it draws visitors with a variety of attractions such as an amphitheater, a salt lake, and an underground amusement park.
